"First of all the location is excellent… right in the middle of the rainforest, although the drive up there is not for the faint hearted. My room was very basic, which was expected. The thing I didn’t like was that the door to the deck didn’t seal at all, so when the wind blew at night it rattled the blinds and kept me awake. "The Manor was an excellent place to stay. The building and surrounds are charming, clean and well laid out. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food and bar are well stocked and delicious. The pool did have some leaves and debris at the bottom but was beautifully cold on a hot day. The town of Tamborine is a short walk with lots to see and experience. The only downside was I couldn’t stay longer. "

"We had three families with primary school aged children stay at Casa Serena this weekend. It was a perfect house for our weekend away from the city. Everything we needed was at the house and it was only a short drive into town and to the wineries. The ping pong table and the hot tub were highlights for the kids.
