"Stayed for 3 nights and wanted to stay more! The views were beautiful every morning and night. Unexpectedly wasn’t prepared for the drive up the mountain to the driveway in my car on a gravel road but other than that it was great! I definitely will be coming back to see more of the town and the views! Loved the hosts they were very helpful and sweet!"

"This hotel is very attractive when pulling up. There is even a firepit outside you can enjoy. The lobby and receiving area is clean and inviting. Our room was cool and everything was very clean. We had breakfast before we left, and we appreciate that there was tea and hot water for those of us who don't drink coffee. The breakfast was delicious and the ladies working that area were polite and kept check on everything to be sure it was staying clean and we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel. It's right next to Walmart and many restaurants, all within walking distance. That is a big plus for me. It's not our first time staying, and sure won't be our last. We enjoy the area, especially all the farm stands."

"This place was spacious, comfortable, and an excellent value for the price. We really enjoyed our stay, and I would definitely come back. However, there are a few things I wish I had known before booking. First, there is no staff on the property. The check-in process was simple and handled over the phone, but I was driving and didn't see the messages with the instructions beforehand, which caused some confusion when we arrived. Another thing to keep in mind is how secluded the property is. During our stay, there was only one other family there, and the resort is truly in the middle of the woods and mountains. I felt safe because my husband was with me, but if I had been traveling with only a group of girlfriends, I might not have felt quite as comfortable. We also didn't realize how far the nearest store was. We arrived without water or snacks and had to drive about 15 minutes to a very small gas station. I understand that's part of staying in a remote mountain area, but it still caught me by surprise. When I think of a "resort," I usually expect at least a small convenience store on-site or nearby. Overall, this is a great place to stay, and I would absolutely return. I just wanted to share a few details that might help future guests plan ahead and know what to expect."

"Great place! They need to find more competent maintenance men but otherwise, no complaints. Cabin is nice, stays cold as you want it to be at any time. Grounds are nice, plenty of nature to view, wonderful spot to visit with the family, area could use some Alpine style modernization but other than that, killer. Only thing that sucked was the hot tub not working and not being let know that it was down as the listing said it was an amenity."
