"Lovely stay in ideal location with attentive staff, good views and great breakfast served on terrace. Booked in for hamam which was very enjoyable. Only downside was we had the top apartment that opened onto terrace which was a lovely apartment with own breakfast table, but shower flooded so you had to be quick, the buildings AC unit was on our roof and noisy at night, and the town is full of seagulls that woke you up early. None of this would be a problem on lower floors."

"This place is heaven on earth: a beautiful and elegantly designed building surrounded by a huge garden including a swimming pool and you always have an amazing view. We very much liked the landscape around Essaouira (the landscape in Morocco is changing a lot every few kilometers) and Dar Diamar is located perfectly in the middle of this beautiful area. It's a 20min drive to Essaouira and with the detailed instructions it it very easy to find. One of the best things about this locations are...

"The hotel is pretty and charming, but there is no way to contact the management or the reception, nor by phone or by e-mail. They also don't accept credit cards. "

"Very nice Riad, very well located and with outstanding staff & service. Nicely comfy rooms. The only minus is that we can hear a bit the noise of the surrounding bars & clubs, which is not a big issue (and it is probably unavoidable in a Medina like the one of Essaouira). "
