"Convenient location next to motorway with parking. Immaculately clean fresh modern room with ac. The shower is powerful with plenty of hot water. Shower and hand washing gel provided. WiFi is fast and free. Work station for laptop with usb socket. Tea and coffee making facilities in reception. Hotel is clean. Breakfast tasty. Next door is a Subway, coffee shop and Pan Asian eatery. The Cherry tree farmhouse opposite does serve good food. The Steak and ale pie is on another level and their cakes...

"We had a lovely stay at The Pig of Lead last week. The whole experience was great, from the warm welcome, the superbly comfortable room to the delicious breakfasts. It is a great base from which to explore the area, I can’t recommend it highly enough. "

- Elegant city center hotel offers upscale comfort with a restaurant, garden terrace, and stylish common areas in Derby.
"The hotel is close to Derby Train Station and it’s an easy walk into Derby City Centre as well.
Only downside was the lift was out off order and it was my wife staying and she has health problems which made it a bit hard fir her to get to her room but apart from that she said she will use the Hitel again. "

"Had a lovely stay for our wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend, staff were all lovely, polite and friendly. Service and food were excellent in the restaurant area. All of the hotel was clean and well kept. The bedroom we had was on the first floor overlooking the garden, very comfortable bed. Good soundproofing, we couldn’t hear anything from the other rooms. Location was good for Chatsworth and Bakewell. Would definitely stay there again "
