"The property itself was beautiful but unfortunately at this time of year (early May) there was a lot of sargassum so we did not enjoy the resort's beach. The pool was a nice sub. The food at the local restaurants in San Pedro were better than the resort's restaurant but it was convienent and decent. Important to note that at the resort bar and restaurant they do not sell any hard liquor, only beer and wine. In comparison to another 4 star Belizian resort we had just stayed at, we did feel it...

"The property is in the vicinity of lots of restaurants. I highly recommend Garifuna Soul Food Restaurant. I had a King Room Deluxe which had a full kitchen with anything you need to cook, store and reheat your food. Thus room type really allows you to ger comfortable and store your belongings away. The concierge was very helpful with recommending dining options like Sweet Tutz. The food there was very authentic and reasonably priced! 1 of 2 pools on-site was open for most days of my stay....

"Beautiful and clean property in a BEAUTIFUL setting with fantastic rooms and a picturesque view of the Caribbean Sea. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is that it is 7.2 miles North of San Pedro on a VERY RUFF ROAD….. especially when driving a golf cart. If you plan on spending most of your time at the resort then you will be extremely happy however if you plan on venturing out often, it is quite a long and bumpy 45-50 minute ride ( EACH WAY ) into town. "There were not a lot of units but 3 pools. Never had to fight or get up early to get a chair. We could always find shade on our large balcony that looked out over the ocean. The reef was unbelizeable ! Swam with sharks, manatee, stingray, and turtles. Also tubed the caves which was incredibly beautiful and relaxing. All around great trip!"
