"The room was fabulous with a big comfortable bed. All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful. We were travelling with our dog so couldn’t eat breakfast in the main restaurant but we ate in the tavern instead which was lovely and quiet. We could pick from their menu or order anything from the main restaurant including the buffet too. "There is so much potential in this place! A beautiful old grand hotel that looks worn, but with some time and vision it could become a gem. Staff was excellent (especially Brid), breakfast was lovely each day, location and views across Oban Bay were spectacular. "The Pearle Oban is right in the heart of the city...beautiful view overlooking the water. Accessible to all sights by walking and plenty of restaurants in the area. I am not sure why there is no outlet in the bathrooms; it does make it difficult to blow dry your hair...lol The staff was fabulous; held our luggage for a day while we took an overnight trip to Isle of Mull. Great breakfast spread that was included. Loved our stay in Scotland!"

"Travelling with 84 year old mother with poor mobility. Room and bathroom were easily accessible for all her needs and clean and tidy. Restaurant, bar, library and drawing room were all on the same level so she enjoyed being able to use all the areas. Where there was a small number of steps, front entrance etc. Ramps were in place. Views from the public rooms were excellent as was the loch view from the bedroom. All the surrounding grounds were well kept. Breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea...

"Ottima la posizione dell’hotel, ma le camere risultano datate, non c’è il frigorifero in camera e il bagno non ha la finestra. Colazione scarsa per la categoria, il personale non ci ha chiesto se volevamo delle bevande calde che non erano disponibili da dispenser.
