"If you dislike the sound of trains at night, make sure to book a room on the ocean side. I was on the ocean side, but, I could still hear the trains, it was not disturbing. Make sure you arrange a taxi if you are unable to carry luggage up a steep hill. Walking up and down to lovely Moneglia can be an issue for elderly unfit guests. I love the hotel and Moneglia. My third time at Mondial. I will go again. Bell"

Every corner of the castle had something interesting: the kitchen was fantastic (we made pizza in the pizza oven), we had drinks in the taverna, lounged in the pool, and had dinners on the balcony overlooking the sea. "The apartment was well equipped and Luisella and her husband were great hosts. The apartment is elevated and wouldn’t be accessible for anyone who struggles with stairs, but it is worth the effort if you’re up to it. "

The safe in our room wasn’t working, and although we asked the elderly man who appeared to be the only staff member on duty to fix it, he never did. To make things worse, when we returned from a party at around 2 AM, the signboard light had been switched off, so we couldn’t find the hotel easily in the dark. There was also no one at the front desk to assist us."
