The hotel is overall in excellent conditions in a very quiet neighborhood. Their breakfast is superb, in particular for their freshly baked pastries. "If you dislike the sound of trains at night, make sure to book a room on the ocean side. I was on the ocean side, but, I could still hear the trains, it was not disturbing. Make sure you arrange a taxi if you are unable to carry luggage up a steep hill. Walking up and down to lovely Moneglia can be an issue for elderly unfit guests. I love the hotel and Moneglia. My third time at Mondial. I will go again. Bell"

"I stayed in a triple room which was fantastic! It was huge, had TWO balconies, a nice kitchen and bath, and plenty of closet storage. The location in Levanto is ideal as it's only about an 8 minute walk to the train station with easy access to the Cinque Terre villages and beyond. There's also a grocery store right around the corner and a laundromat nearby. And in a less than 10 minutes you can be in the heart of historic, charming Levanto for restaurants and shops. It's probably a 12-minute walk to the beach. So very ideal! Also, the host, Judith, was fantastic, as were other staff. I really loved this apartment and would definitely stay here again! "
