Our car had some scratches and I asked them what store in Italy we could buy stuff to rub off the scratches before we return the car the next day. "Stunning grounds and hotel. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Great breakfasts. We had a toddler and staff were understanding and gracious. Improvements: I have long legs and it’s hard to shave in a narrow shower without a step. I put the trash can in the shower to improvise and avoid cutting myself or having conditioner run into my eyes. Also, the beach lanai charges even guests exorbitantly and requires a “tent” rental just to enjoy the pool with a child friendly shallow and quick dip in Mediterranean."

"Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. My only criticism is that it doesn’t have a true shower. Staff were so polite and accommodating ….we loved the place. Shout out to Lucia who checked us in made us feel so welcome. Appreciated Irina’s help this morning on the check out. "

"The stand out in the property are the location (very walkable) and the staff. Everything was delivered with warmth and a smile. I think overall one of the friendliest hotels I’ve come across. The room we booked was also of a very generous size with two bathrooms, such a welcome bonus :) So, although quite dated in places, a well maintained, well managed establishment! "
