"in 44 years of traveling around the world this was the worse and demeaning Hotel experience ever had( payment was made in advance BTW )! i cannot say anything about the accommodations because i never made it in!!! After an exhausting and temultuous
trip to Potenza , my only concern was checking in , resting down my heavy luggage and preparing etc etc!
however when i approached the door and tried to enter , there was no response or answer, i
also tried to call a dozen times to no response!
So...

"We absolutely loved our stay in the La Cava nel Barisano Suite. Rosalba and Gianfranco were wonderful and generous hosts providing us with breakfast supplies and beautiful cakes. They recommended where to park and guided us into the Sassi in the dark. Their communication during our stay was great. The Cave itself is beautifully appointed with a gorgeous terrace, looking out to the stunning view of the Sassi, we were blown away. The shower is a real surprise and treat.
