"Very friendly staff."

"Your front desk employee Daniel is not a customer service oriented person. Our phone was not plugged in and I thought it was broken so I rushed downstairs to get him to order our breakfast. He basically told me to go order at the restaurant. I was in a jacket and my pajamas in a big hurry. We were short on time. The brochure in the room said food service was 505 but that was wrong too. The outlets were not all working and we really needed them. The restaurant had good food but limited and we ordered eggs and bacon but got the two mixed together instead of separately plus foods we did not order. There was not tea in the restaurant. "

"The hotel lobby, ballroom, bar area and spa are architectural treasures that should not be missed. We had a first floor suite in the tower. Unfortunately, it was very much in need of a total renovation. Everything was sort of dingy, the couch was completely worn out, the bedspread was old, and the enamel in the sink was cracked. It was somewhat sad to have the common areas in the hotel be so delightful and historic, and the room so disappointing. It was very cold the days we were there so I cannot rate the pool at all. The beach is lovely, and the walkability is top notch. If they rehab the rooms, it would be an A-plus spot."

"10/10 hotel experience. The facilities were in excellent condition, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff and customer service were definitely the best part of the stay. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. I would come back a thousand times over."
