Good location for major sites Building is old and doors stick and floor is creaky One of the dorm rooms had bed bugs!!
Clean and organized. We didn't stay long enough to speak with staff, but everything was ready for us. The decor was adorable and well maintained.

Unique and charming stay. The building is old and creaky, and the wifi quite poor. The staff were kind and helpful, but rarely around. Would recommend to a more adventurous traveller who is willing to sacrifice some comforts for an interesting environment and less touristy neighbourhood.

Decent room, homely atmosphere, full access to kitchen dining room and charming courtyard. Simple but pleasant.
Great location, Maria (head of staff) is excellent and went out of her way to help us!

For a hostel it was pretty good. The management was very nice and helpful. The WiFi was pretty bad. We had a room out in the back courtyard, the wifi rarely worked at all back there. The bed was spotless, and there were no bed bugs. But the floor and walls were pretty dirty. At the front door there’s some vulgar graffiti that is very unwelcoming for tourists, not a great look. I do think it’s a pretty good place for the price. I would’ve given three stars but the management was nice and gave my wife extra pillows so that was appreciated.
Beautiful hostel. Really clean and the team were super friendly and kind. The courtyard is a great little spot to sit with a book and relax after a day out. Thank you so much!
If you like “quirky”, then this place is for you.
Well kept old house where many rooms still use skeleton keys and you can eat your provided breakfast in the Hortus conclusus (outside garden).
Affordable, clean, comfortable with a very helpful staff.
(Always willing to answer my questions)
Close to the metro and just about everything one would want to see in Athens!

This is an awesome hostel, not too big. Lovely staff and a really cool area. If you're looking for somewhere super close to the tourist attractions, this is maybe not for you as it is about 15 minutes from the centre. It's got a great social life in the communal area.
I would make sure you're not a light sleeper as noise travels easily in this place. You will hear all the doors closing anywhere inside.
It was fine for my purposes but it was very noisy with no sound insulation at all. You hear everything from the other rooms and the area outside your door. For me, the location was perfect, within easy walking distance to where I needed to be. There are nice coffee shops nearby. It’s a hostel, not a hotel, adjust expectations accordingly.
okay i’m going to be completely honest because things like this require detail me and my boyfriend went for my birthday october 19th - 26 we had the upstairs orange room or whatever it’s easy to check in it’s not like a traditional hotel you very much have to read your emails to get the access code to get in. me and my bf had the solo room but if you go in the fall / winter october is cold at night so bring sweats and sweats and socks because they give you one duvet and one pillow and that’s it if you ask for another they give you another duvet but it’s just heavy cotton it’s not insulated so if you’re cold you have to either ask for another blanket or turn on the heat which is a tricky process. Also it’s shared restrooms and more than likely the upstairs bathroom will always be used the floors are really creaky so you will feel like a jerk just walking around your room. people use the bathroom with the door open or don’t lock the door so be aware of that people are very comfortable and often they talk loudly at night? it’s not the most comfortable experience buts its not expensive and the lady who runs it is very nice and she does laundry so bring a plastic bag big enough for your clothes and drop it’s off downstairs the night before you want it washed. She really good at getting your stuff done quickly and it feels good going home with clean clothes. Overall expect the community shared spaces to be used often and don’t feel bad for walking around your room. happy travels
The property is great for visiting ancient athens and the local area and staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately it was very noisy with a bar just outside thats open until 2am every day.
It was clean and staff were friendly but just had a few issues. I stayed in the private room, which is in the courtyard so you hear everything from people in the courtyard and main floor. The wifi was also a bit spotty in that room.
