The property was dirty. There was no toilet paper in toilet. Tv in room didn't work. Entry and exit information wasn't forthcoming. I had to follow up and ask staff. I booked an ensuite room but did not get one. Linen was old. I would not stay here again and will not recommend it to anyone.
Blood stain on the bed, the room stank very badly of cigarettes, squished cockroach in the bathroom, very old and worn bedsheets, very noisy bathroom fan. The room was not secure, no where to store valuables safely. Staff seemed disorganised and though friendly, were often not around or even locked themselves out of the premise on one occasion. Wouldn't stay there again.
Hotels.com accepted our booking late at night even tho the latest you could book this particular Hotel was up until 6pm.
We arrived at the hostel and rang the number which didn’t answer and after the second attempt I was advised it’s to late to check in and contacted the Manager who was asleep and after waiting one hour we decided to book another hotel and As we were on our way to that hotel a lady rang half asleep and just said sorry!
It’s very dives looking on the outside and the reviews weren’t that good so I was probably saved from a very bad nights sleep and The Grosvenor Hotel was a much better place!
Now I understand why hostels are so cheap!
It was filthy , broken windows blood at the entrance of the door the room smelled discusting no shower pressure no remote for the tv all in all never again yuk
The dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. The lock on the door did not work and the bed was revolting with black spots all over the sheets, completely broken springs, dirty towels, hair and who knows what stick to the sides of the toilet door. This place was worse than any place I’ve stayed in including Europe, south east Asia, and North America, and I’ve stayed in hostels in all these places! It wasn’t clean at all, and I know I’ve mentioned it already but the lock didn’t work! Not to mention trouble with checking in at the start, where the room we were meant to be in wasn’t even free. Truely disgusting.
Private ensuite looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. The location was good for access to the city, but the room was so dirty that we will not be staying again.

The staff are the best thing about this place and why I keep coming back. The cleanliness though could be improved
When girls book into a room they shouldnt be put in share with a male. (Esp when booking with a minor). Making dressing in bathroom a necessity. That person had their stuff all over all beds until i questioned if in right room because of it, so they moved it. Floors were dirty. Mirrors were dirty, then one fell off wall breaking waking us early hours of the morning. One of the toilet door locks didnt work so kept opening while trying to use. Creaky floors along hallway etc which disturbed sleep.
Thank you for the opportunity to stay there. Will be back.

I arrived at 7 am with two suitcases and was waiting for reception opening until 9:40 .before 9:40 i can not go anywhere because there no space to keep my luggage. As for the hostel the room its ok and you like quite place this would be your choice,

È un ostello per backpackers ma tenuto male, la reception doveva essere aperta fino alle 19 ma alle 18.30 già non c’era nessuno.

The bed cover , pillow have stain and dirty . Should be thrown out. Over used. The room doesn’t seems ever vacuum. I travel around the world never seen such low standard hostel. The owner need to inspect this rooms . I was raally surprised with the conditions.

Basic amenities, good price. Excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Handy location.
Only stayed for one night just to use a bed, so didn't get to experience the whole place properly, but it does have multiple shower/toilets, kitchen and balconies.
