"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"My family and I stayed at royal arch for 4 nights over Christmas, when we first got in the lodge it was absolutely beautiful and clean, the host had put 2 selection boxes under the Christmas tree which was a lovely touch and had clearly taken the time to know we had our 2 children with us. There was a hoover there to use but the hose had been snapped and taped back together, luckily we had brought our own hoover so it didn’t effect our stay in anyway."

Such a quiet peaceful place, (if you're looking for entertainment and nightlife this isn't for you) however if you want to relax and listen to nature then this is definitely worth a visit. The lodge itself was beautiful and clean, the only downside was the bed, it was so uncomfortable, other than that it was perfect. It has an amazing big grassy field for kids to run and play football, a little sand park for smaller kids and lovely...
