"This is an incredible hotel. The rooms are great, the mattresses are excellent, the restaurant is superb, the staff is exceptional (especially Pino). We would have loved to stay longer. "This is a unique hotel, perched on the hilltop of Montesano village. It has old charm and lots of character. Our room was spacious and with castle-themed furniture. We had a private terrace patio which was huge and offered a spectacular view across the area. The girl at the reception, Elsa, was very kind and informative. We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel and it was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a hidden gem. Parking at the property is free."

"We arrived late on a Sunday in a heavy downpour. The town is very remote and there were zero options to eat anywhere or not even any supermarket. The owner originally said that his restaurant was closed on Sundays, but then felt bad for us and opened it just for us. The meal was great and he only charged us 53 euros for a dinner with wine. That was very reasonable although he could've taken advantage of our situation and charged us significantly more. The town though has nothing to offer other than a great view of the mountains "
