It’s a great place to stay. Close to the city centre and accessible by tram and other public transport. The staff is nice especially the man in the afternoon shift. Complete value for money.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. It was easy to find, staff was nice and parking was available. The room was small but totally sufficient for me. The only thing I have a (very little) complain is the size of the shower. I am a big guy and it would have been great to have some more space. Overall I would come back!

The location of this hotel was great, next to the tram/bus line(Number 14 tram) takes you to the city center, main train station, where you can get to anywhere. The hotel staff were fantastic: Franco, she was there to welcome us, and provided us with tickets for riding the buses, trams, for 24 hrs...8.90 i think; Olivia, who became the manager while we were there, Congrats, she provided us with alot of travel guidance (routes to take, trams to use, where to get on and off, etc....); and Romus, who also provided guidance. Kyro, the head of housekeeping helped when we needed some help, she jumped in and got it done, immediately... great staff, always with a smile and fun to talk to. There was a small grocery store, less than 200m away, one the tram line, one stop prior to the hotel..had alot of cheap, good food, and fresh fruit. the hotel room was very nice, small, with windows overlooking the main street, not too noisy and if you closed the windows it was quiet. nice bathroom, alot of pressure and good hot water... a nice bed, a double, small table and chairs, and a mini fridge, and a free bottle of water each day, and water and coffee, tea available 24 / 7 at the front desk..along with apples, and a computer and maps of the city. Only negative was lack of a microwave in the room, but when asked to use one, it was granted, in the kitchen. we didnt eat breakfast in the hotel.. but it looked good. I enjoyed my stay at Coronado and would stay again. I’ve visited Zurich MANY times, but this was the first time not staying in the center and I can say that I actually preferred it! I enjoyed taking the tram...a 24h ticket was 8.80CHF and the stop is literally in front of the hotel and we never waited more than 5 min. It was nice moving around like a local and seeing the more residential areas of the city. Just lovely. Another big plus was the free parking spot! Cost-wise there is no comparison with what you find in the center. The hotel itself is also very nice. No bells and whistles but the room was cozy and clean. There was coffee and fruit 24/7 in the lobby for free. We actually had an incident with the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night due to the night receptionist’s carelessness in the kitchen, but the hotel made it up to us with discounted rooms and free breakfast. Also, a friend who was staying in another room asked more than once to change rooms (For noise that no one else could hear) and the hotel was always very kind.

سعر الفندق مبالغ فيه جدا جدا ... كأغلب فنادق زيورخ حالة الفندق جيدة جدا ... جميع الامور التي تحتاجها موجودة و الفندق قريب من السنتر بالترام الملاصق للفندق ... النقط السوداء هي عدم وجود تكييف ولو ان الجو كان مقبول نوعا ما في وقت حجزي بالإضافة إلى حجم دورة المياه الصغير جدا الخانق عموما السعر المبالغ فيه نقطة سوداء كبيرة ... و لكن قد يكون من ادنى الاسعار في زيورخ !! ايضا مدخل الفندق غير مناسب لعربات الاطفال

What this hotel may lack in frills, it more than makes up for in location. It is situated literally on the tram line at a stop for several lines that take persons into the center city (we took #12), as well as to the airport (I believe, #10). (If you have a rental car that will need returning, it is also situated some 20 minutes away from ZRH by highway.) Best of all, you can purchase your tram tickets at the hotel desk. The building would probably fit into the "basic" category. It offers decent rooms in a quiet neighborhood, as well as comfortable beds for a good night's rest. Add to that the willingness of the staff at the front desk to answer any question or to provide useful practical guidance to the area, and you have a winning combination for a successful Zurich stay. The room itself was of moderate size per Swiss standards, though the bathroom is notably small for a couple needing to get in there at the same time. We didn't choose the breakfast option, since we'd be leaving early on our second morning at the Coronado, so I can't comment on that. I can say that tea and coffee are available 24 hrs/day in the lobby, very is very nice. A warning: Beware of the killer tubs (a 2' step into/out of it and a rounded bottom to it can be potentially tricky with soapy feet!).

The hotel is located very near tram station. Very convenient to get to airport and the main station. The air con is centralised and can get very cold at night. I think cleanliness of the room can be improved as I found stains that could have cleaned away in the bathroom.

Wonderful friendly and comfortable hotel

Really lovely place to stay. From the instant I arrived, I was welcomed by the staff (so nice after a hard day's travel and late arrival). The hospitability of the people working here is 11/10! Room was spotless and comfortable, not to mention spacious. Bathtub so nice to soak tired feet after 10km walking around the city. Neighborhood is very quiet, so you'll sleep like a baby. There are a few restaurants and a supermarket a very short walk from the hotel; most of the restaurants were not open when I was around, so I didn't sample them. You are 100m walk from the tram stop and 6-7 minutes tram ride to Central or HB on the 7 or 14. Would definitely stay here again! WiFi is also good, btw - fine for teleconferences.

A good choice that a few extras would make even be

On the whole rooms are basic though very clean and appealing, but a few additional touches would add a lot, for example there is no possibility to make tea or coffee in the room.There isn’t even a guide on how to use the phone! The bathrooms with a tub need a no-slip mat or surface at the bottom since it’s very narrow and slightly concave and gets very slippery when wet. The worst are the soap dispensers from which one can only get soap with brute force.No good for small,weak or arthritic hands. But you can’t beat the location,the staff is extremely helpful,the lobby well appointed and the breakfast super.
