This hotel is secluded and very peaceful. Perfect to get away from it all. It has a lovely homely feel. The owners are very friendly and always happy to help. The place is spotless.
Excellent hotel with very attentive staff and we were made very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay there again. If you need a relaxing place to stay in the area, this should be near the top of any list.
First class in all respects. We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful location. A truly personable service which goes well above the normal. Outstanding and we thoroughly recommend a visit.
Great place to stay if you prefer a less corporate style hotel. Room ( Lady Amelia) was spotlessly clean with a v comfortable bed, large bathroom and balcony with a great view. Hosts are v friendly and v attentive. Great service- friendly and personal.

Rudby Hall is a gorgeous property set in beautiful Yorkshire countryside - very quiet and peaceful; amazing Manor House flavour; amazing autumn colours; and amazing hosts!
The room was beautiful and spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was modern-functional!
Definitely worth a visit again for a longer stay!
Our hosts made us feel welcome and valued. There was some lovely walking in the extensive grounds and the Hall had lots of old world charm, Catering was excellent including various breakfast options and also bespoke evening meals by prior arrangement
The breakfast was very fresh as it had been ordered the night before. The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfy. The owners greeted us on arrival and interestingly gave us a potted history of the beautiful building that they are obviously very proud of. We were made very welcome with a cup of tea and coffee on arrival. We had dinner that evening too
Host were amazing, nothing was too much for them. this really is a tranquil and beautiful place to go. Extremely quiet with amazing walks around the area.
The main Manor House is lovely and done up to a great standard too.
Well done to the hosts
Very nice welcome and hosts were very helpful. Luxurious room and bathroom. Nothing seemed too much for the hosts with great choice for made to order breakfast. The property sits in large and well laid out grounds. Dinner was also available. Would thoroughly recommend you stay here.
Lovely house with charming grounds, all rooms different but spacious, superb freshly cooked to order breakfast, and other food on request.
Exceptional hospitality and although a very short stay we were made to feel like guests of friends rather than clients.
A lovely and historic building and grounds, the hosts [owners] obviously working hard to maintain the elegance, history and charm of a country house residence rather than just another hotel and they deserve every success as the love and passion they have for providing service and satisfaction to their guests is obvious and infectious.
From the moment we arrived we were treated like we were in a home from home. We were shown around the hall and given details about the history. Then we were shown to a beautiful room with a gorgeous bathroom. It felt that we were guests on a country house weekend. Breakfast was delicious and sourced locally.
An absolutely stunning place. Booked for a weekend away for my wife’s birthday. On arrival got upgraded to a suite which was an incredible room with a fantastic view. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark and Suze. Rudby Hall is a gorgeous place with beautiful views. Breakfast was excellent would certainly return. Can’t recommend it enough. Thank you to both of you for making it a memorable weekend
Staying at Rudby Hall is so much more than just a visit – it’s a feeling. From the moment you arrive, Suze and Mark go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed, cared for, and part of something special. Their attention to detail is incredible, yet it’s their warmth and genuine hospitality that truly stand out.
With the wonderful support of Pharrell, everything flows seamlessly, creating a sense of calm and comfort that you can’t quite put into words. It’s not just about the beautiful surroundings (though those are breathtaking!) – it’s about the atmosphere they create together.
Rudby Hall is a place where you instantly feel at home, and you leave not just with memories, but with a deeper sense of connection. Simply unforgettable.
Could not fault it. Amazing service. Lovely people
We were impressed from the outset. As soon as we arrived at the gates, they opened for us to amble down the long winding driveway. Mark greeted us when we arrived, introduced Susan and gave us a brief tour of the property before showing us to our room.
Very elegant surroundings and so peaceful inside and out. Has the real feel of a stately home and Mark and Susan were there to answer any questions as we were fascinated by the history of the building.
We were fortunate to have arrived on a lovely evening and decided to take the 15min drive to Captain Cooks monument which gives you stunning views of the countryside and highly recommended.
We had to leave very early the next day for a pre arranged appointment so we didn't expect breakfast but after explaining this, we were very humbled to hear they would do something for us and as we left, they gave us two hot breakfast sandwiches at 06:15 catering for both myself and partners vegetarian requirements.
Mark and Susan have amazing visions for the property and deserve the very best.
You won't find a better hotel in the surrounding area.

I was actually ill during my stay and they really looked after me, everything from bringing fruit to the room to checking in on me.
I cannot recommend this place enough, I just wish I was well enough to have experienced it in all its grandeur
Absolutely stunning, from greeting on arrival to leaving the Hall, grounds, Hall, Breakfast, everything was fabulous. Will 100% be staying here next time in the UK.
