This property was a perfect family getaway for our Thanksgiving holiday. Our host was wonderful and easily accessible. Quick drive to Woodstock for shopping , restaurants and cafes.
Sharen was great, the property is beautiful and the home was perfect for our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds were comfortable. House very clean. Only 2 things to note. First was the washer is only available if staying 4 days which is normally not a big deal just something to keep in mind! And there are a few single steps and slopes as it is an older house so something to keep in mind if traveling with older people or young ones. Overall would recommend to anyone staying in the Woodstock area and we will plan to return!
Great space for a relaxing weekend. Communication was excellent and everything was a described. Plenty of space to spread out. Thanks for a great time!
This is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore Woodstock, Vermont!
Centrally located to all you want to see & do; this property is big enough for a family or group of friends and cozy enough for a couple. The host couldn’t be nicer or more attentive!
What an inviting home. Our children and their cousins loved the place and enjoyed our in-laws having dinner (quality kitchenware) with us, enough room for 9 people. We enjoyed Billings Farm, Ben & Jerry’s, teaching our children to ski at Okema, and remembering my husband’s childhood in Woodstock.
Cross the covered bridge and you have arrived in a true rustic paradise! Quiet, clean and simple. Perfect location to everything. We loved our stay and will certainly be back next year!!
My friends and I enjoyed our long weekend stay in the beautiful town of Woodstock at Sharen’s comfortable, historic house just outside of town. It was charming, clean and spacious. The four of us each had our own space as well as gathering areas in the well equipped kitchen, living room and front porch. Great place to gather!
We were very comfortable in Sharen’s lovely farmhouse. Clean linens, nice beds, large kitchen, plenty of space both inside and outside for our 2 kids and 2 dogs. Great location—we loved walking down to the river every morning to wade and collect rocks. Easy to get to downtown Woodstock, Quechee, White River Junction, Stockbridge. Delightful!
We rented the Vineyard house for an extended period as we ski Killington. The house is charming, comfortable and big enough to accommodate our 2 adult children and their significant others. Sharen and Mike were wonderful hosts! We will return to the Vineyard house for sure!
A wonderful hideaway so close to everything. Unique property with a vineyard in front and river on the other side. Perfect for quiet getaway and great house for playing cards and chilling. We explored Vermont and the location was perfect.
Sheran was a wonderful hostess.

This lovely, charming home was just as described. It was fully appointed with everything we needed for 4 adults, a toddler and a preschooler. Great bathrooms, superb kitchen, lots of communal seating areas. The outdoor setting was breathtaking and to top it off, you approach on a wooden bridge!
Property met our needs very well. It is a comfortable and well-equipped house. We hope to be back. The only problem we encountered was an icy driveway at night. (It was 6 degrees!) All fine when more sand was applied the next day. Owner very pleasant, helpful and friendly.
There were five of us getting away for the weekend and booked at the farmhouse. The house is immaculate. It was just what we were looking for. We loved sitting on the porch having coffee. The bedrooms were all very nice. Beds were very comfy.
Sharen was wonderful. She came the day we arrived and gave us a taste and explained to us how Verjus is made. We had never heard of it before and it was very interesting.
Everyone loved the farmhouse and would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!
We had a simply lovely stay from start to finish. This home was immaculately clean while cozy and warm. Communication with Sharen went above and beyond to insure that we were comfortable and knew all about local spots and restaurants. We followed many of her restaurant and venue suggestions. All were wonderful!! At my request, the host stopped by to talk about the vineyard and their Verjus. I can’t wait to try my bottle! Next time (and there certainly will be!), we plan to cook in one night. With the amazing farmers market down the road and extremely well appointed kitchen we look forward to it! One of my favorite stays ever.
Very nice property in a beautiful scenic location. The house was very clean and specious, and the beds were comfortable. All in all an excellent experience.
We enjoyed staying in this rustic farmhouse. The house is clean and spacious. The porch overlooks a mini vineyard, which is most unusual and definitely a picturesque plus in New England. The neighborhood is quiet, and in close proximity to town. The owner is very responsive communication-wise.
