"This house was fantastic. My family of six (four school-age kids) loved staying here. There was ample space for everyone, and it was spotlessly clean. The furnishings were exactly what we wanted and needed, to a surprising extent for a rental house. The ping-pong, sauna and numerous board games were fun. The espresso machine was awesome. All contact with the host was smooth and truly helpful. The whole family agreed it was both amazingly close to wonderful day-trips, as well as a delightful place to simply hang out. The neighborhood is charming and quiet. It's easily one of the best rental homes we've ever stayed in. We hope to return!"

"We had a throughly enjoyable stay at the property. Andreas was a friendly and welcoming host, he is close at hand should you need him. The cosy house is a great base to explore the surrounding area and has mostly all that you need. The balcony is a lovely place to sit and eat and listen to the cow bells in the distance.We packed so much into our time. The Palace on the island in lake Chiemsee is a must but make sure you book. Salzberg is an easy distance, there is a fantastic Ice Cave which we thoroughly enjoyed. We also hired a little boat from Chieming and used it to swim from. The mountains in the area are stunning, getting a cable car and walking to the summit of Untersbergbahn was also a highlight. A couple of things would be useful in the house. Some bags that could be taken to the supermarket, a bigger saucepan/cooking pot, a fan as the top room can get very hot in the summer. Towels are provided but I recommend you take a few extra if you plan on swimming at the lakes. We loved the toast/ breakfast station by the dining table, this is not something we do in the U.K. but is a great idea and having the light hanging over the table was great for board games. "We loved our stay here!!! The house was in the perfect location as we were back and forth between Ruhpolding and Traunstein, not to mention Salzburg, the Chiemsee and many other favorites. The house was also within walking distance to the bakery, grocery, river and beer garden.! And accommodated our large group perfectly with lots of seating and anything we would need in the kitchen. We would absolutely stay here again!!!"
