A GREAT location and very friendly staff! Inviting lobby area, the suites are spacious but in need of some serious renovations. Its just old, needs painting, serious cleaning... you completely over look that when we had such a great rate for the stay and the location, however in non pandemic times I would not pay the regular rate for rooms that need love and attention.

I have stayed here numerous times over the past 4 years while my daughter attended GWU. The service and shape of the rooms has declined over these years. This past weekend my stay was disappointing. The antiquated heating/cooling system required that you keep your windows open at night in order for the heat to be regulated. It was in the 30s at night. The noise of the area and the filthy filthy slatted shades made for an uncomfortable situation including breathing in the dust as the wind was blowing over the shades. When the front desk clerk came up to my room to help me with the heating system prior to going to bed (the room was at 85 degrees even though I had set the thermostat to 65 before I went out for the evening) he was condescending and outright rude. I will not be staying at this property again. It’s a shame because it used to be a delightful spot!

Nice front staff. Very helpful. Hotel was clean and very accommodating for our party of 6. Nice room layout with kitchen. Truly the only bad side was how hot the room got. Had to sleep with window open but lots of noise outside. Would probably stay again though. Close to Foggy Bottom Subway station. Maybe 5-7 min walk if that.

Excelent location. Walking distance to National Mall, White House. There is a Trader Joe's just a few steps away and it is a plus since the rooms are equipped with a kitchen. Super clean and comfortable room. Front desk people were really kind and friendly.

Love the separate BR, LR & Kitchen, also Bath w/2 separate sinks for quick getting ready for 2 people. Location was excellent, the staff was always pleasant and very helpful. Valet service is quick, easy, and efficient. Lovely place to stay. We started with a 2 night stay, and kept adding more nights for 4 or 5 total. Very affordable, very safe area with Trader Joe's across the street. Very walkable to Metro and other sights. Great stay!

Everything was great I would recommend and plan on staying here again. The valet was expensive I would like to know more about it for longer trips to DC but finding parking seemed like it might be a little hard in that area.

Lovely location. Very friendly staff, clean and tidy room. Restaurant downstairs had good food and the staff at the bar were great. A few good restaurants near by as well as Trader Joes just across the road. Easy to walk to main attractions of the city.

Noisiest room til midnight

Overall, great deal for location and space. Couple blocks from metro and close to Georgetown. Sunny spacious, good restaurant. Restaurant a bit disorganized and slow service at times but very nice server and surprisingly good pizza and breakfast flatbread. The only awful part was walls may be thin and next door hotel guests were loud, cursing (MF,B,you name it), loud, playing club music). I asked felt desk to tell them to quiet down which they did promptly, then they were quiet for 5 minutes and started up again, I asked front desk to come up again, repeat and this went on from 1030-1230. I think they stopped or went out. The noisiest night but if not for them, rest was good. I will bring earplugs next time. Housekeeping knocking at 830 which I thought was early

Very clean and comfortable suites. The neighbors were noisy but we're o my Blue to hear them from the living room and not from the bedroom. The breakfast is. Joke though ...one croissant or bagel for 5 bucks and a beverage at the bar....that is the breakfast. Families in need and o. The budget go shopping at the nearby Trader Joe's and this way they can have breakfast. About 20 mi Utes walk from the White House but if cold all you can do is a cab for $12 plus tip....as there is no metro line....or station very near. O stall great stay due to cleanliness and comfy beds.... Stayed between 20 and 25 of December. Lots of international families that do not speak muck English... But the receptionists are very patient and kind. Great stay overall....🙂
