Historic Home w/ Gas Fireplace, Fast WiFi, & Private W/D - Snowbird-Friendly
Little Loon Farm is a quiet, historic Georgian farmhouse located in the middle of Mid-Coast Maine. Built in 1820, every room in the 2000 square-foot house is bright and airy, oozing charm and character; from its original pumpkin pine floors to the thoughtful updates to accommodate modern needs. The house is close to the coast and a short drive to everything mid-coast Maine has to offer. There are beaches, mountains, lighthouses, fishing, lakes, golf, hiking, ATV trails, kayaking, festivals, and an abundance of world-class restaurants. Not to mention skiing, tobogganing, and ice skating in the winter. Plus, you can put your kayak in and paddle out to sea with the St. George River just down the road.
The home is a beacon of comfort. All beds have luxury mattresses and four pillows. The bathroom on the main floor includes a large shower. The open kitchen is spacious and well appointed, including a lobster pot to have your own lobster festival! The generous kitchen table will accommodate eight with the accompanying chairs and the living room has plenty of seating to accommodate your whole family. A large laundry/mud room will give you more than enough room to park your muddy boots as well as all your adventure gear. There is a deck off the living room with a BBQ and chairs to enjoy the beautiful weather. The private half acre property is lined by blackberry bushes that you are welcome to pick in season. The long driveway accommodates four cars or your boat and trailer, and there's easy access off routes Highways 1 and 90. Surrounded by trees Little Loon Farm is beautiful year-round and yes you can hear the loons in April, making it the perfect spot to base your Maine adventures.

Great location. Cute cottage. The twin beds are a bit too firm for my taste, but otherwise comfortable. This property is managed by Vacasa, and the instructions given by Vacasa for the WiFi connection did not work. There's a booklet (and directly on the router) that gives both theirs and a different Wi-Fi connection that does work. Downtown is a 5 minute walk, where lots of restaurants and shops are located.

Charming cottage
The cottage was comfortable, quiet, beautifully decorated and a convenient walk to the shops and waterfront. It had everything we needed.
Great location, very easy to get to harbor, and a great view. Check-in was easy, not having to keep a key on you was also nice. The house was very cozy, perfect for doing puzzles or drinking coffee in the morning. Lots of appliances and home goods to make it easy to cook, iron clothes, hang stuff, etc. Overall we would definitely stay again!

Another successful visit
Love this cottage ... our 4th visit. Having lived in BBH for 18 years, we always enjoy visiting old haunts and spending time with friends. Then there's time to enjoy reading in a sunny nook or on the great deck. Our almost 80 year old bodies are looking forward to another visit.

Nice Cottage
we really enjoyed our stay at Fisher Hill cottage in Boothbay. The cottage was neat and clean and very well stocked and very close to town five minute walk and that was for two older folks. If I had one reservation, it would be that we paid much more for service fees and would have you versus the cost of the actual cottage.

Property good, Vicasa horrible.
Good property and location. Watch out for Vicasa service fees.
This was our 3rd stay at this charming Maine cottage. It was a restful time for 2 aging seniors recovering from a year of health glitches. Lots of reading, relaxing and reconnecting with our friends (we lived in BBH for 18 years). Hope to return next year.
This is a cute 2 bedroom cottage near downtown. There is enough space for 4 adults. There is a very steep hill that you need to drive/walk up to get to the house. Opening the windows brought fresh sea air. Very quiet neighborhood. Great places to eat nearby.

Lovely and peaceful location
Loved location. Driveway difficult as it is steep and has some wash out, but no problem in summer. Lovely place. No air conditioning. Lots of fans, but was super hot first day and a little difficult for the asthmatic in our group. Well set up with every thing you need. My dog loved it too!
This is a perfect little house for a weekend stay. The house is well-stocked with amenities and we loved the big outdoor area. One thing to note, it is on top of a steep hill. We had two seniors and one person who had just recently recovered from ankle surgery so getting them up and down the hill was a bit difficult. It might be useful for the property owner to put stairs in somewhere that way people aren't having to scale and climb up on dirt and grass to get to the house.

Making Memories
Fisher Cottage was a perfect location for our family of four to vacation. Everything that we needed was available in the kitchen and the Hannaford grocery store was just around the corner. We loved the grill and the space to eat in. Delicious food was available in walking distance from the cottage.
The cottage had everything we needed, with ample bedding, towels, TP, paper towels, coffee filters, dishwasher detergent pods, and soap.
Even though we had our own little nook on the hill, the cottage had so many fun options surrounding it. Our kids (12 and 9) loved the huge botanical garden…it was filled with interactive features like a huge troll scavenger hunt, outdoor musical instruments, lobster cage pulleys, etc. We enjoyed the small (but informative) aquarium. We had a fun morning exploring Ocean Point’s tidal pools and went twice to Pemaquid’s Beach Park. This beach park was a small sand beach with a great shower facility, snack bar/outdoor restaurant, and even a small educational area. We continued on to the Pemaquid Lighthouse, which was beautiful.
We went on a whale and puffin tour and it was neat to see the area from the ocean.
The temperatures ranged from mid 5s to mid 70s while we were visiting. We turned on the heat in the cottage when we arrived and then switched to fans and opened windows. The cottage had a dehumidifier that was efficient. We wholeheartedly recommend Fisher Hill Cottage! Thanks for the memories!
Beautiful, spacious, and wonderful getaway at the Fisher Hill home! I have been coming to Boothbay for 35 years, and this has been one of my all-time favorite stays. Huge plus to be able to bring my lab, who loved lounging on the deck. Very easy and short walk into town, convenient, and great location that is far enough away from any noise, but close enough to get to it all.
