Noisy, dark & airless rooms. AVOID

Room was like a garden shed. Noisy, airless and dark. Zero privacy, shower was like an ice rink so VERY dangerous. Dishonest about location on Hotels.com map, they know it is nowhere near where they have marked but just try to lie their way out of it and keep on lying throughout! I think I also had the source room, the one everything is taken out of, side tables, pictures, drying racks. Of course there was no honest answer, apparently these items are 'on request'!!!!! Just so you are warned!

Heel erg mooi resort, groot huis met hele mooie tuin. Het straatje is wel beetje moeilijk te vinden, is smalle straat van de hoofdstraat en de naam van het resort heb ik niet gezien. Laatste kleine stukje moet je lopen, of met golfkarretje met je bagage. Ontbijt is niet in buffetvorm, maar je moet kiezen uit een paar soorten ontbijt. American, continental, indonesion breakfast etc.

Loved Bali Dream

It was amazing. The staff was very kind and friendly. It was a nice location away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough to walk there if we wanted to get a scooter.

Palmejungel resort med hyggelig betjening

Ligger koselig til ca 25 min gange fra Ubud tempel i sentrum og ca 15 min gange til en populær tur-sti som tar deg opp til vakre omgivelser og rismarker. Bali Dream er en liten jungel aktig resort med to badebasseng og hyggelig betjening. Obs, biler kommer ikke inn denne gata, men bare 5 min gange fra veien. Rimelig priser og helt grei frokost.

Tres bel hôtel !

Tres bel hôtel, légèrement excentré du centre mais accessible facilement à pieds ou en scooter. Les chambres sont très spacieuses avec une grande douche en extérieur. Le personnel est très agréable et bienveillant ! Les piscines sont très jolies et bien entretenues

Overall, good with a few bumps in the road.

The place was great with lots nearby to do. Rooms all had their own bathrooms and plenty of privacy. Pools were clean, rooms were clean. The only issues we had were that the beds were very uncomfortable. No spring or padded mattresses and on a solid wooden frame makes for a very firm bed. Sheets were the only blankets, which works out because the A/C on full blast is not enough to make you cold. Expect to be warm, use the pool to cool off. Also, we ordered pizza from the resort to our room one night for dinner. Big mistake, it was terrible. Just get something from out in town.

We stayed 8 nights. Pleasant and quite area, nice garden and pool, good bed, good breakfast and good location. Hot water in the bathroom. Our room was rather small with limited furniture (only one night table, no shelves, only two cloth hangers). On the floor in the shower, white stones - or rather stones that have been white... neither pleasant nor hygienic. Poor insolation so you need good luck with the neighbors. On the whole a good place, could easily become better. I would try to get more for what we paid.

Very comfortable villa with amazing staff. So friendly and relaxed. Would stay again. The gardens are beautiful. Great place to explore little pathways around the outskirts of Ubud. 15 walk to centre.

L'hôtel est sympa, Nous avions une piscine privée avec une villa bien aménagée bien qu'un peu usée déjà (joints usés dans la salle de bain, porte qui ferme mal, carreaux décollés dans la piscine...). Nous avions demandé un lit bébé mais ils n'en avaient pas, dommage pour un hôtel plutôt orienté famille... Un peu loin de la plage (pas de trottoir, ni de navette) et peu de choses (restos, activités...) aux abords directs de l'hôtel

Peaceful and Chilled Stay in Ubud

Mother & Daughters trip. Peaceful, quiet, gorgeous gardens, 2 pools ..Bali Dream was all we had hoped for. Staff was so gentle. Enjoyed daily breakfast - limited menu for other meals. Also liked being in Penestanan - away from busy Ubud centre. Definitely will book again and recommend.

It’s the little things

While this hotel was basically fine, the little things wrong with it just add up, and we found the way were treated steadily declined over the 10 days we stayed. For example, the first day we stayed, our room was tended to 3 times, by the end of our stay we would have empty dishes out on the table in front of our room ready for collection for a day at a time. There was no safe in the room, a list of phone numbers to call such as room service and room to room yet no phone to go with, our TV had no service, there was no hairdryer, the bathroom smelled and there was a tiny mirror in the bathroom and a mirror at about waist height under the TV where it was no use to anyone unless you knelt on the floor. Every time we asked a male employee for a jaffle at breakfast or a coffee which required the use of the espresso machine, we were informed that the machines were broken, yet if you asked a female employee they were happy to make it for you. The breakfasts were TINY, and if you wanted to make any adjustments to your meal, half the time the staff would pretend to understand and then no changes would be made. We had dinner at the hotel one night, the food was more expensive than other restaurants and was very disappointing. A lot of taxi drivers haven’t heard of this resort, so make sure you remember the address if you stay here, and if you walk the 20-30 minutes into town, be prepared for an unnerving experience on the winding road with no footpath and lots of cars and scooters.

L'hôtel est très bien situé à seulement 20 minutes à pied du centre d'ubud et 5-10 minutes en taxi. On est au calme, le personnel est très accueillant et aimable. L'hôtel est paisible. Le restaurant de l'hôtel n'est pas mal.

Nice Villa in a quiet place

Very clean, good meals at reasonable prices ( we had two dinners and one lunch there) , great service ( accommodating us for very early departures in the morning with a breakfast box. The only negative is it can't be reached by car (Short walk) , and some taxi drivers have hard time finding it . A bit dangerous to walk to Ubud town due to heavy traffic and no sidewalk
