Dante was a wonderful host for our 8 day stay at Sunset Tulum. The area is surrounded by super cute shopping with a wonderful breakfast spot across the street. The beach across the street was beautiful, with easy access. The hotel was tucked away in the lush jungle with guarded security, so we felt very safe and taken care of there. The attached restaurant, Loco, was some of the best food we had with great atmosphere. We also enjoyed utilizing the rooftop cooking space with the beautiful sunset view. Thank you for the amazing vacation!

very clean. beautiful views. quiet as it’s set further away down tulum party beach zone. free beach access through ether but minimum $30 usd min spend to use beds/pool etc. didn’t use these and chose to seek out more lively beach clubs.

Hidden gem in the jungle

The rooms were very clean, stylish and spacious. The AC worked well, and there was a ceiling fan also. The kitchenette on the roof was great in the morning for having a cup of tea (not supplied) and storing leftovers and drinks in the community refrigerator. The security guy was friendly, we communicated through google translate. Loved this place and highly recommend (def a great value for the location, where hotels on the beach side are $300+ per night). My only recommendation would be to have stairs for getting in and out of the pool. Gracias for a wonderful stay to the staff!

Very nice ambiance of being in the jungle. Check in was different in that i hadnt realized i had to pay at the property after booking on Expedia. Recommend trying to arrive before 4pm due to horrendous traffic on beach road in evening. This hotel isnt on the beach, but has an agreement with one across the road to allow its guests to use their beach, i guess. They gave me a pass after i asked for one, but didnt offer it until i asked.

The noise was so loud at nights!! The sheets & the towel all had stain and looked like they had mold on the pillow!!! I woke up in the middle of the night with the lizard in our bed, once I mentioned it to the staff they said due to jungle environment they are normal and harmless but I did not wanna see a lizard in our room and specifically in the bed! Do not stay at this hotel and the pictures that are displayed at website definitely doesn’t match the property!

Die Gemeinschaftsküche auf dem Dach war absolut zweckmässig, wird aber offenbar nur selten benutzt. Leider funktionierte dort auch das Licht nicht. Ganz toll ist aber der grosse Kühlschrank inklusive Tiefkühler. DasZimmer ist grosszügig und zweckmässig mit Klima und Fan, so dassKleidung gut trocknet bei feuchtem Klima. Trotz Nähe zur Partyzone hört man im Zimmer kaum Lärm, ausser wenn morgens die Vögel erwachen…so schöne Geräuschkulisse! Vom Dach mit Ausblick über den Dschungel kann man ausgezeichnet Vögel und Nasenbären beobachten, diese halten sich regelmässig in den Bäumen auf - einfach toll!

Emplacement parfait. La chambre est magnifique entourée d'arbre avec de grandes baies vitrées. On se reveille littéralement au en pleine nature. L'espace piscine sur le toit offre de couchés de soleil incroyables. La propreté est irreprochable. Il y a tout l'equipement sur place. Notre sejour a ete une vraie parenthèse de repos et de calme dans un cadre exceptionnel. Toute l'equipe de Sunset Tulum a ete au petit soin et a vraiment facilité notre sejour. Echange très chaleureux. Si j'avais a retourné a Tulum aucun doute que je retournerai a Sunset Tulum. Je recommande sans reserve.
