This hotel is located in a central area close to 2 different train entrances. It’s not directly on a busy road which makes it very quiet too. The staff was extremely friendly (and spoke English). They had free amenities on the second floor that go beyond most hotels such as bath salt, hair ties, tooth brushes & paste, and you could even borrow different types of hair tools. The room itself was standard of what you would find in Japan, relatively small. However, it was extremely clean and had a standing fan/dehumidifier already in the room (the best part!!). On the first floor, there is an attached restaurant that is very delicious and I would recommend trying for dinner. Overall, I had a great experience!

This was our first hotel on a 12-day trip to Japan. The room was clean and conveniently located to the subway. It was very small by American hotel standards, but the hotel website provides exact measurements of the room and the bed, and everything was as advertised. The breakfast was good; hotel guests had 4 options from which to choose, including western breakfast, Japanese breakfast, sushi, or salad.

This Sotetsu is a great budget friendly stay! They had a lot of free amenities to use while you’re there, and the staff was very helpful. All these rooms are incredibly small, so that is the trade-off you pay for when staying in a very convenient area near Ginza.
