The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel was meticulously clean. We went elsewhere for dinner. We went to the bar in the hotel lobby, but it is just liquor and wine. We didn't see any beer or mixed drinks. Not a big deal to us.. We just wanted a drink before going to our room. We didn't have hot water to shower, but they fixed it after we called the front desk. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was a typical continental breakfast. There are a lot of barking dogs and the walls aren't as soundproof as I had hoped. The views from our balcony were the highlight of our stay. We are from America and our Portuguese speaking skills are poor at best. The staff knew English and answered all our questions. If you have any walking disabilities, this is not the place for you. It is on the side of a steep hill and the parking is a little ways away from the hotel. We didn't see a pool, but they do have one that is a bit of a walk to get to. That area is absolutely beautiful. The Portuguese people are the nicest people we've ever met.

Amazing stay and location =)

It was a great weekend in Adelaide Hotel! We went to bike event (Granfondo do Gerês), and the experience great! Staff was super nice and they allow us to check-out later, because of the event! So nice, next year, I will return again for sure!

Great value. Casual Family run hotel, they take pride of their property and it shows. Good breakfast and if you don’t want to walk down to town center for dinner, their restaurant at night is good too. Fátima at the front desk was fantastic! Portuguese hospitality at its best.

there was nothing we liked... the foto made one think it was in a green location. it was sqeezed in between other hotels, on a very steep hill, very narrow street reception is in bmt. staff was unfriendly, room was like a cell, window opened untoa roof and walk way, so we could not sleep w. open window... address is wrong, the place is in Geres which is a town 27 km further east, we had to backtrack after we got to the town that is noted on the reservation, which is act. the district for the entire area... lots of steps because it s built into the hill side so diff for people w poor knees or luggage to drag... do not recommend it..

Bon établissement mais dans son jus

Équipe très serviable, hôtel propre, avec nombreux stationnements réservés, repas de bonne qualité que se soit au petit-déjeuner ou dîner. Repas plus onéreux que la moyenne au Portugal mais Gerês est très touristique donc pas choquant par rapport à la qualité de la cuisine. Par contre, dans son jus, salle de bain à l’ancienne mais avec distributeur de gel douche à disposition. Très mal isolé, pas de double vitrage, on entend tous les voisins que se soit à côté ou étage voisin même quand ils prennent leurs douches et sont aux toilettes, il faut oublier l’intimité… On a l’impression qu’ils utilisent notre salle de bain. Deux étoiles cher payé mais par rapport aux autres établissements à proximité, cet hôtel paraît être le plus « moderne ». Piscine mensongère, il s’agit d’un bar ayant une piscine extérieure à 850m à pied en dénivelé où l’entrée est gratuite pour les clients de l’hôtel…

Tenho a dizer que desde do momento da entrada ao momento da saída fomos super bem recebidos e o atendimento espetacular para um hotel de ⭐️⭐️. Pequeno almoço e jantar foram as refeições que fizemos durante os três dias que aí estive foi nos dado um itinerário para conhecer a zona recomendamos e esperamos voltar em breve porque ficou muita coisa por ver….

Nice and cheap stay

Nice and quiet hotel. They gave me a room with a balcony, even though I booked the cheapest room without one. Breakfast not so great, and the bread (old and dry) they brought me at dinner was the most expensive I ever had, with the cost of one euro extra for the small pack of butter, and 1,40 for the small pack of cream cheese they gave me.

Everything was good. Our special request to have a room with view was served very well. Very nice and kind treatment of the personell at reception and in restaurant. Only the mattresses were uncomfortable, we could feel the springs in our back.
