Stayed in one of the cottages with family and dog which was wonderful - everything was very clean and provided everything you could possibly need. The enclosed meadow was great to let our dog have a run around and only a short walk to Manorbier beach - a great location to visit Tenby & Saundersfoot would hope to stay again soon.
Our third time here and we love it at Hideaway Cottage. The cottage is immaculate and convenient to beaches and local facilities. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet quality cottage.
The only thing we struggled with was the mattress was too hard and gave us back ache but a beautiful clean property with lovely owners and and a beautiful location
The cottage was ideal for our stay, lovely quiet spot, decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Good location for walking into the nearby village or driving to Tenby. We would definitely stay again.
A beautifully appointed cottage in a beautiful location. We had a lovely time exploring the area and it was a pleasure to come back to the cottage to relax. Great hosts and a very welcome ‘Welcome Hamper’ - much enjoyed, thank you!
Great cottage in a perfect spot. Clean, modern and cosy. Llinos was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Our dog loved it too. Would definitely recommend and go back!
A fabulous hideaway location but so close to many dog friendly beaches and the picturesque Welsh costal path.Barafundle Cottage was very comfortable and clean containing every thing we needed for our week away. A big bonus was the outdoor dog washing station which we used whenever we had spent many hours on the local beaches. Our favourite walk was down the beach from Penally (train station car park) to Tenby which is a delightful walled town with many excellent cafes and restaurants. Do not miss the chance to have a look around Manorbier Castle just a 15 minute walk away.
A fabulous stay at Barafundle Cottage. Extremely clean , properly smelt lovely upon arrival & the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Ideally located for the coastal path walks to the many beautiful Sandy Beaches that were virtually deserted
Beautiful cottage in a great location. Spotless and so comfortable. Everything we could possibly need.We attended a wedding at local castle and this place was perfect. Shop and pub in walking distance.
4th stay at this lovely cottage. Spotlessly, comfortable, absolutely everything you need, amazing communication with the hosts. Couldn’t wish for anything more. Will be back soon for our 5th visit ☀️
We stayed for 3 nights in Barafundle Cottage. From the outside the property looks really small but there was more than enough space for us (3 adults). The cottage was clean and well equipped. The welcome hamper was great and we even had a banner and a bottle of prosecco for our anniversary. The location is perfect for exploring the Tenby and Pembroke areabbottbottle
Lovely cottage, warm, comfortable and well equipped. Nice quiet spot close to where we wanted to be. Really enjoyed our stay with our two dogs. Thank you
We really enjoyed our stay in Barafundle cottage. The little extra touches such as the welcome hamper and toys and bedding for the children was lovely. We found the location great and enjoyed walking through the meadow to Manorbier. We had everything we needed in the cottage and everything was nicely presented and clean. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to be back!
The location and hosts were amazing from the very beginning. Accommodation was spotless and well equipped. The terrace with BBQ was a favourite. Location was perfect. Quiet, stunning views all round. We highly recommend booking, you will not ! Be disappointed.
Lovely cottage with everything we needed Host left us a hamper to start with local eggs, milk, tea, coff, sugar and welsh cakes. It was in a good location for beaches and short 20 min walk to the local pub & shop. Pub served good choice of food with plenty of vegetarian options for my daughter and grandson.
Will recommend to friends and family
We booked for a 4 day, 3 night stay and were very pleased with the cottage (Barafundle). A nice welcome hamper upon arrival, easy access to the cottage and very clean accommodation. Our 2 little boys (2 and 1) enjoyed the toy box that was put out for them to play with. Location is approximately 5 minute drive from Tenby and is set in a peaceful location. If you are looking for a nice cottage to stay at then this is the place to stay.
Thanks to the hosts for making our little break an amazing one. Will hopefully be back for another visit.
A full and concise write up is available, with pictures elsewhere, submitted by my husband. Lovely accommodation in a nice area, NOT for dog lovers, as they're not allowed on furniture nor beds, with fine issued if found to have been on any of the beds. Threatened with eviction and £250 fine for inadvertently missing the section for number of dogs. We had an one 'extra' Mini Schnauzer!!
Stay in the area, but elsewhere.
We booked out all 3 cottages over a weekend in Easter. Unfortunately, there was rain and high winds that particular weekend, but we were all very comfortable in the cottages. We loved the welcome back especiall the eggs provided by the on-site chickens. The cottages are warm and cosy with central heating, well appointed kitchens and showers. We apreciated all the little touches provided in the kitchen such as oils and spices, oven gloves, cloths and dishwasher. There was plenty of space in our cottage Colby for myself, my husband and two children. The children loved the beds in their room. We were able to venture out to see Manorbier beach and Tenby itself but were able to retreat back to the cottages to read, play games and watch the television in comfort when it rained. Books, games and dvds/player were provided in the cottage. We would love to stay again in the summer to enjoy the patios and to fully appreciate the lovely setting.
