Casita Das Andainas as been given a official licence from Tavira for tourisme rental. It is on the 2nd floor with the terrace on the 3th Floor facing south with BBQ, 2 long chairs, table, four chairs, sink. No lift. You will want to enjoy the evenings with a nice glass of wine watching the sunset and observe the fisherman coming back from the sea with their fresh catch or watch the locals play the very popular game of petanque on the square a small distance away. The apt is divided into 1 sleeping room, furnished with a comfortable double bed and 1 bathroom with bath and bidet. The living room-kitchen is at the other end of the corridor with bay-windows overlooking the quiet street Das Andainas with mature trees on a well kept lawn. The kitchen is well equipped for easy meals or for elaborate dinners. The owner put a special touch on the lighting to create a warm and cosy atmosphere. Casita Das Andainas is also equipped with flat-screen tv dvd/cd, books and games. And if you feel lazy you can always grab a bite across the street. You have a choice of several restaurants and snack-bars that offer the fresh catch of the day.

The property was very clean and well equipped. It was a comfortable space. The host was very informative. The only negative might be the space is a little dated as you can see in the photos in the listing. Would be happy to stay there again.
Host was very accessible and responsive.Location was excellent and parking excellent.Really enjoyable but of course nothing is perfect. The bathtub was slippery and hot water is at a premium.The pillows need to be changed because they are a bit old. The tv took a lot of navigating to get to watch and because we are bedtime tv watchers we missed that.Overall we would stay here again. Tavira is nice and no crowds so very friendly .
Enjoyed the quaint village of Santa Luzia…Michelle the owner was great to deal with and responded quickly to any queries we had. The location in the eastern part of the Algarve gave us opportunity to explore the areas that are removed from the very touristy parts of the Algarve…Loved the immense beaches!

Enjoyable stay
Apartment is quite basic but comfortable. Good kitchen facilities and bed was good. Shower was good but we found stepping into the bath a bit of a pain.
Living area quite dark due to the trees outside but thankfully with the wonderful weather and roof terrace we weren't inside much.
Dog on the ground floor a pain and even though the owner assured us it would not bite we weren't convinced.
overall we had a lovely month and enjoyed the local food.
We recently stayed at Michelle's apartment in Santa Luzia and had a nice experience. The apartment was very clean, conveniently close to the town center, and the perfect size for a couple with a baby. We were especially grateful for the crib and high chair that the host provided for our baby.
On the downside, we felt that there was a bit too much furniture and decorative items for a holiday home, but this is a personal preference. Additionally, a dishwasher would be a valuable addition to the apartment.
Unfortunately, due to external factors (renovation work), we could only use the terrace with barbecue towards the end of our stay. However, the host kindly compensated us for the inconvenience.
Loved the location, just 3.5 km from Tavira centre, on the top floor of a three story condo building, in the quiet fishing village of Santa Luzia. There is only one tourist shop with hand made ceramic seaside themed ornaments but Tavira is close by and has lots of shops. AND, in Santa Luzia there must be 30 places to either eat or drink and four of them are within 100 m of the front door.
Our suite was as advertised and our hostess, Michelle, went out of her way to pick us up in Tavira on our check-in day. The suite was well equipped and included basic condiments and toilet paper and paper towels. It was great to have internet and satelite TV. We found the bed very comfortable. Michelle made sure we knew how to operate the various appliances and, if we needed them, manuals were kept handy. We enjoyed the roof top terrace and the view of the water.
A little updating of the drapery and table linens wouldn't hurt but the suite was clean and we had no complaints.
As with everywhere in Portugal there is a resident in the building with a dog that barked a lot but there's nothing Michelle can do about that. After a while we got used to it.
Overall, a very good experience.

This was our first experience using a VRBO and Michelle was excellent to deal with and very helpful. She always responded promptly to any questions and was extremely helpful upon our arrival.
Good expérience in the tavira neighbourood. Localistion is good, parking easy . 2 nd floor without elevator. At 3 rd floor you have the nice terrasse with BBQ. Enjoy

The apartment was well equipped with the basics, superb value for money. Mechelle and willum were very helpful we shall return
The apartment was as pictured and described, with a lovely peaceful roof balcony and a good kitchen. Communication with Michelle was excellent and the location is ideal; no need for a car as restaurants and a supermercado are nearby. A great base for exploring Tavira and the surrounding area.
The apartment was really nice, clean and tidy. Everything you need for a great holiday. The roof terrace is an added bonus where you can catch the late rays of sun and enjoy sitting there having a drink. Thank you, Michelle and Willem, for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.

Great contact with Michelle and Wilhem . Our only disappointment was that in website it states there was a hot tub on roof terrace but that was not the case . The apartment is great and everything and more that you need .

The owners were exceptional. When I arrived, they met me at the train station and took me to a grocery store to buy some provisions before taking me to the rental. When I was unable to arrange a taxi to take me back to the train station, they picked me up at a very early hour and took me back to the train station so I could depart on time. Well above and beyond the call of duty!
This is a compact and tidy apartment, with everything you need as a couple. The kitchen area is well equipped - we ate in for three of the seven nights we spent here. The roof terrace area is just wonderful, spectacular views over the Ria Formosa and plenty of room for having breakfast, evening drinks or just soaking up the rays! The location is ideal, on the Tavira side of Santa Luzia, which is a lovely quiet fishing village, but one with a number of good restaurants (we recommend Vincents!) Michelle was an excellent host - easy to communicate with and very helpful. There is a slight issue with the electricity tripping, but we found that as long as we were careful not use too many other appliances when the oven was in use, we didn't have a problem. Wonderful holiday and great apartment
2 way transfers from airport by Willhem were reliable and good value. Apartment is as described and shown on the website. Apartment is in a quiet block and is very convenient for beaches, transport, restaurants and bars of Santa Luzia. Upstairs roof terrace and BBQ were used for our meals with great views over the Ria Formosa and toward Tavira.
The apartment was well equipped and spotlessly clean.
We would have reviewed our stay as 5*, but unfortunately the bedroom A/C unit was out of order, as was the small fridge on the roof terrace; both these points were explained to us on arrival. A large fan was available in lieu of the air conditioning unit.
We will certainly consider booking this apartment again when we next return to Santa Luzia.
