A wonderful desert tour!

We were offered a private tour in the desert from the kind host. The tour was with Ibrahim who drove us to the dunes, across the desert and to the nomads living there. Ibrahim took good care of us and we highly recommend the tour.

What a quaint Auberge. Room was spotless, air con worked well and pool area was lovely. Great view of the dunes. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Highly recommend this property.

Our family of 4 stayed 3 nights in Auberge Les Roches. We arrived by rental car around sunset and were pleased to have a complimentary tajin dinner that night. The breakfast was good, and we made tons of use of the pool, which was a hit with our kids. Amazing dunes are just a short walk away. We were in the area for fossil hunting. A couple other notes: we had to pay for the room in cash only, which we didn’t get notice about until the day before checkout and nearly had a problem with because there was only one ATM machine in town and it limited us to withdrawing 4000 MAD per account per day. I would have preferred a reminder at check in that we still needed to pay for the room and that it was cash only.

Well located

Guesthouse Les Roches was a good choice for our quick trip to Merzouga. We arrived late in the afternoon and Hasan was very welcoming. He quickly arranged a camel treck into the dunes for us, and delicious tagine dinner on our return. Our room had warm AC and hot water, though the shower drain was a little slow to clear.

Very nice staffs and clean room

I arrived early morning. But Lahcen(the owner of the hotel) picked up us in supratour bus station. And let us use the room we made reservation! We enjoyed 4x4 jeep tour including sand board and sunset. It was very good time for us. And Lahcen let us stay in a room to wait our return bus after check out~ I really recommend this nice auberge.

Deserved superb rating

Two types of eggs served at breakfast including the Berbere omelette. Each room had a table and chairs outside and with sockets for devices. The hot water pressure did not vary when other guests were present. Erg Chebbi is seen from your window and we walked to it. We ate in town which 5 minutes walk away, try the M'founa which takes 40 minutes to bake, and Les Roches should be able to prepare

Very good value for the prize. Highly recommended. Swimming pool is nice. Rooms are very clean and nice. With the possibility to take lunch/dinner on the property, which is excellent. Also Offers camel desert yours for a decent prize. They were super kind and flexible. We arrived early in the morning with a night bus. They picked us up from the bus stop with no charge and allowed us to use a room to rest free of charge. They also let us change our reservation on the spot so we could start their overnight camel tour on the day of arrival. Giving us breakfast at 6:30 so we could get the next bus was also very nice of them. If you travel in winter be aware that it gets very cold. Arriving just before sunrise with a long distance bus is not super pleasant.

Excellent hotel in Merzouga. Great location!

Hotel host was great. Waited for us at Merzouga bus station in the very early morning at my arrival time at 6:15am. The room was ready for us at very early check-in. Double room was very spacious with king bed and also an extra twin bed I didn’t expect. Very nice little separated seating area with TV & table. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Bathroom shower was very good. Both cold and hot water were consistent. AC was working very well. WiFi was good as well. All facilities were very well maintained in the hotel. Very lovely outdoor pool to chill out during mid-day when temperature was very hot (I stayed in mid-Sept). Lunch took a bit long to serve, but eating at the seating area outside by the pool was pleasant. Hotel staff Mohammed was very attentive to us both at breakfast and in the pool area. I can’t think of anything negative during my 3 night stay. Everything was wonderful.

We had a great experience here! The place is very nice, very clean, with good hot water, soap, shampoo, etc. the beds are very pretty and comfortable. All the floors covered with nice carpets. They gave us free welcome tea and snacks. The pool os really nice, we took a nice bath. The breakfast was also very good, lots of jams, honey, bread, coffee, etc, etc. The staff is super friendly. And they offer trips to the desert and nice excursions. Definetively recommended!

Comfortable stay & easy tour booking in Merzouga

Well located Riad. The Riad has a nice pool and resting around the pool. It was convenient for booking activities in the area through the Riad staff (ie. 4x4 tour was interesting with a very helpful and pleasant guide and camel trek overnight - negotiate hard for both ;)). Rooms were spacious and clean (considering the sandy and dusty surroundings), but lacked proper lighting and the bathroom door did not close well.

Très joli cadre au pied des dunes

Super séjour au sein de l'auberge qui est parfaitement situé. Les dunes sont accessibles facilement à pieds. La chambre est très confortable, les repas sont délicieux.
