  • Last night we went to a Taoist Temple in Taipei. You can see in the close up picture of people praying how they receive and answer immediately from the prayers. After kneeling and bowing, you throw two "stones" onto the floor. They are both crescent shaped with a sun and a moon side. If they end up both on one side, the answer is NO. If they end up both on the other side, the answer is maybe, or not enough information. If the end up like a ying and a yang, then the answer is YES. I took a moment to pray, asked my question and got a ying and a yang out of the throw. The belief is, that the result comes from within your own heart.

This is a decent hotel. We only stayed one night because we needed to get back to Taipei a day earlier and needed a hotel for the night. The hotel building is a little old but the rooms are clean and well maintained. The area has multiple convenience stores and many dining options.

it was nice, good and quiet -tv is not updated (software) but we did not book to watch tv anyway.. toilet seat we loved! temperature, bidet, flush.. all great! staff nice and accommodating!

Great hotel, would recommend. Room layout was practical, seperate cubicle for shower and toilet which made it easy to share. Convenient hotel and nice staff. I would skip breakfast if you have the option. The variety and quality was lacking.

Heating system sometimes would be requested

It made us trouble that we could not have enough heating system during colder weather in our stay at this hotel. The local advised us that they usually do not equip heating system in their room. But you might be ok if it is usual weather in Taipei at this season.

フロントが4階にあり、フロントのスタッフは皆親切でした。日本語が話せる人もいて、話せなくても翻訳アプリで頑張って対応してくれて、嬉しかったです。 部屋は綺麗でしたが、シャワーとトイレがガラス戸でなんとなく不思議な感じでした。シャワー浴びて出るとすぐ部屋なので、シャワー戸の外にマットをひく風なので、友人と気まずい事になる場合もあるかもしれません。 ホテルの1〜3階の店が風俗営業店なので、夜遅くは出かけない方がいいです。
