What a lovely B&B. The host Davide was so helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! A menu is given every evening to choose your preferences for breakfast. From, warm pasties to yogurt to eggs and choice of meats. The location was perfect right off the main square with access to fabulous restaurants. I highly recommend this B&B.

amazing place to stay

If you are visiting Sulmona this is the place to stay. Located in the city center with a grand patio/balcony to see events in the city center. Host was amazing and very helpful!!!! This was an unforgettable trip for us mostly because of the beauty of the city and how the host treated us while we were there.

Very helpful staff, beautifully appointed large bed room, excellent breakfast, superb location within the city walls. Lovely old furnishings and paintings in the property, large breakfast area and first floor terrace. We didn’t want to leave!

Davide is the BEST host, and 6 Stelle is a wonderful, spotless, gorgeous, lovely place to sleep, eat an excellent breakfast, and explore sweet Sulmona. You’re basically sleeping in history right there by the arches. Davide has great recommendations and speaks excellent English. He’s so friendly and cool. The shower, by the way, is great! Stay here!

Fabulous B&B. Do not hesitate to book. Terrace is so lovely and overlooks the city. The rooms are spectacular and have a history of their own. David is wonderful and goes above and beyond. The manager was amazing! He helped us communicate with the Archivo di Stato to help us find out information about our family. This was after we checked out and during his free time. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous. We loved absolutely everything from the service, the friendliness, and all of the information provided.

So pretty and in SUCH a nice area! Davide was so helpful and patient with me and my family that also was staying there. The breakfast in the morning was so good and the two women who ran the kitchen made great cakes and were so thoughtful and sweet to everyone. It was also in a great location! Right in the center of town and so close to all the shops and more touristy stuff especially if its your first time in Sulmona. I 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Sulmona, such an easy process and again Davide really made the stay positively wonderful. Thank you Davide!

The location is excellent as the breakfast balcony overlooks the piazza. Our unit was spacious, bright and clean. The breakfast was a delicious array of homemade pastries and fresh home grown fruit. I’m not a coffee drinker so I was impressed David remembered I like more milk than coffee and offered me a latte machiatto the second morning. Lovely!

Wonderful owner who greeted us with a tour of the property and history of the area. Our sleep here was best we had so far of our 10 day Italian city tour. Beds and pillows comfortable. We kept windows open at night for fresh air. Breakfast was delicious with lights of variety for all ages and much local dishes. Location of property is perfect and also about 12 minutes to train station. Showers are very nice as well
