We stayed here for a Valentine's treat, we ate in the restaurant which was amazing the food was great and plenty of choice. The room was cozy warm well decorated and modern would definitely stay here again

The staff were very accommodating, the room was as shown on the website. The bar/restaurant was nicely appointed and had a very nice vibe, we didn't eat a meal but had coffee and dessert. The only thing we didn't like was that the floor sloped in our room, making the head of the bed lower than the foot, which was not comfortable; raising the headboard end of the bed would fix this problem easily.

The Egypt mill is an amazing place, dog friendly and just so much character, we stayed in the Jones building with our dog, the room was spacious, beautifully warm and cosy, with a lovely on-suite bathroom. I would really recommend a stay!

Great location and service

The stay started perfectly with reception doing all she could (slim, very long dark hair, very friendly) to allow me into my room early. The room was just as pictured and perfect for this break. Great extras in tge room including cookies and coffee machine. The bar and food service was good and just as friendly.

The room was beautiful with gorgeous fixtures and ammenities. The staff were amazing! Everybody was friendly and helpful and kind. The housekeeping staff had such positive energy and were an absolute delight, giving me lots of wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and things to do and see around the area. On check out Sharissa was also extremely helpful and generous with her time as I had a few issues with my hire car booking which she assisted me with. The lovely young gentleman waiter at dinner was very sweet also. I can only assume there is an excellent manager on site as the whole hotel had such a positive energy. The free parking onsite was fabulous too Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful room, bed very comfortable. View up the river and outdoor area was gorgeous. Just need some ear plugs from the river noise. Food was excellent Definitely on our list to go back and do some of the walks

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location with a lot of shops and restaurants close by. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We stayed in a room on the top floor of the mill, it was a picturesque room, it was a bit hot at night but they had a ventilator to cool it down. The food at the restaurant was amazing! Great chef, delicious breakfast and dinners.

Excellent hotel - welcoming staff - lovely rooms

Staff were very welcoming and relieved the stress from a very long journey. Room was lovely and had been recently renovated. Bathroom was excellent and the setting in general was beautiful being right on the river. Likely won't be back to the area until the same time next year, but won't bother looking at other hotels if the price is reasonable. Can't comment on food as we arrived late and left early, but the restaurant had a nice ambiance.

Our stay at Egypt Mill was excellent. We especially enjoyed our evening meal as the food was amazing. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly too. We loved the history of the hotel and loved to see the original features of the old mill amongst the modern features.
