Rather a disappointing stay, alarm went off several times early in the morning. Room rather basic considering what it cost. But the hotel was in a great location.

Nice views and balcony. Very walkable. Hotel is a little outdated. We were told there was free parking at time of booking and then when we got there was told that changed and was now about $50/day usd. Staff was very friendly and they accommodated us with a baby crib!

Fantastic surroundings

Fantastic surroundings. But the overall impression of the hotel and our room is old and a bit in need of an upgrade/overhaul. The breakfastbuffet was ok, but not up to standard compared to e.g. Scandic, Clarion or similiar known brands.

Beautiful View

We liked our overnight stay here. The staff was friendly and the room had a lot of convenient offerings like a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and heated bathroom floors. Parking was a little unclear, but right on the other side of the street, and breakfast was a little light on options. Otherwise, we had a sea view and it was worth it. It had a lovely view of the fjord.

It was an average stay great location and views. Hotel need updating severely. Lights went out twice during our stay and fire alarm at 6 am false alarm. Definitely not worth the money

View of the fjords is breath taking. The rooms are a bit outdated and therefore you can hear people next door and above, takes some getting used to. Not very quiet.

Terrible experience.

Easily the worst accommodation of our entire Norway trip, and it happened to be the most expensive. Room they gave us had disgusting stains on the sides. Fridge didn't work. Stain on a towel. Phone didn't work. Relocated us to another room, fridge was missing altogether. Relocated us to a 3rd room. This time there was an exposed electrical socket. No covers on the bed base. Phone didn't work. Fridge was heating up rather than cooling. The staff member was friendly and trying to help but even when I told her the exposed electrical socket could kill someone, she really didn't seem all that bothered. Breakfast had great variety but ran out of a lot of things. All in all a terrible experience, such a shame as they are in a beautiful location and they certainly charge for it.

Fint hotell,- parkeringsutgifter i tillegg!

Hotellrom tydelig renovert siden vi var der forrige gang! Minus: Vanskelig å finne parkering midt på dagen. Hotellet har ikke egne parkeringsplasser! Måtte betale kr 550,- for en dags parkering! Union hotell har egen parkering!

Vi hade sett fram i mot att på detta hotell som ser så fanatiskt ut från utsidan för att fira vår bröllopsdag, vi betalade extra 400 Nok för att få fjord utsikten totalt 2,900 Nok men rummet var slitet med trasiga utemöbler, engångs plastglas trasig papperskorg utan lock i badrummet kanske dags se över rummen lite.

Flott beliggenhet med utrolig utsikt fra rommet. Vi fikk rom i øverste etasje med balkong mot sjøen. Rommet fremstod rent og ryddig, men bærer preg av å være godt brukt. Hadde hatt godt av litt oppgradering. Frokosten var helt grei, men bestod av det viktigste. Sengen var utrolig god, og hotellet får et pluss for dobbel pute. Beroligende utsikt utover fjorden fra sengen

Mycket trevlig ort och bra hotell.

Åkte båt från Hellesylt hit på Geirangerfjorden, fina vyer. Mysig ort. Bra frukost, bra rum. Tyvärr låg rummet mot gatan, men man hade en underbar utsikt från de övriga lokalerna. Värt varenda krona.

Dårlige senger

Sengene på hotellet er ikke gode. Hodegavlen sitter løst. To senger med dårlig madrass er satt sammen som separerer seg hele tiden. Det viktigste en gjest forventer av en hotell er en god natt søvn. Det fikk vi ikke. Smerter i ryggen fikk vi istedenfor.

Bien placé. Excellent petit déjeuner. Chambre ok, sauf les lits qui sont très mous et à changer. Notre a dormi sur le canapé lit, le problème est que il a dormi sur un matelas complètement inconfortable, on sentait les ressorts dès qu’on est dessus… Salle de bain ok mais sans plus. Disons que pour le prix payé (très cher), ça ne les valait absolument pas..

Central hotell vid stranden, goda burgare vid bistron, Hotellet är ganska gammalt i skicket, men det ger också känsla av tradition! Stor lobby med fantastisk utsikt att spela sällskapsspel. Plus för kylskåp på rummet, men var försiktig med varmvattnet i badrummet, det var skållhett.
