Fantastic hotel

Hotel was lovely. Warm welcome and gate room was excellent. Bed was massive and comfy. Breakfast was also excellent and the grounds of the hotel were lovely for a post breakfast stroll.

It is a charming hotel with a warm and welcoming staff! This was my second stay at Rufflets and it felt like my home away from home. It has a fantastic restaurant, lovely rooms, beautiful grounds, and a wonderful staff that is always happy to help. All of this at a very reasonable price.

Rufflets is an absolute gem of a hotel! It has the charming feel of a countryside inn, with all the amenities you would expect from a luxury hotel. The warm and welcoming staff went above and beyond all expectations. The room was spacious, nicely appointed, with a modern bathroom. The hotel features a lovely restaurant featuring fine cuisine, cozy sitting spaces near fireplaces, a bar that is a great place to unwind, and lovely gardens.In short, Rufflets is a superb hotel I highly recommend!

We appreciated the warm greeting at reception and personal escort to our room. The family suite where we stayed was spacious and allowed for kids and adults to each have some privacy. We enjoyed a pleasant walk through the gardens, especially a peek at the kitchen garden to see what produce was being grown.

When I arrived at 8pm there was no one at front desk, also the front desk was a table. I had to get the restaurant/bar staff to check me in after hitting the bell twice over 5-10mins. The hotel feels family run and has charm, however the service received was not great, It seems like they were short-staffed. Great breakfast to choose from and the room was comfortable.

An absolute gem just outside of St. Andrews. Only stayed for one night, but what a lovey stay. The gardens are beautiful, I loved walking through them after dinner. The room was well appointed and had homemade short bread. Plus it was so nice and quiet.
