Nothing special
Check in was great
Room very smal
Lunch was not good had clubsandwich chicken was very dry send it back dinner was ok nothing special restaurant and bar staff looked like their did not want to be their
Breakfast was ok but no real service
The rooms were very tired looking. Stains on carpet. Paper peeling off the walls. Inadequate power plugs. Had to put kettle on floor to boil it. Had to sit on floor to dry my hair as flex on the hair dryer was not very long and the power point was near the floor. Bed was up against the wall on one side which was not ideal for 2 people sharing.
Lovely welcome from reception. Clean room, super comfortable bed. Easy parking. Fairly priced bar with seating outside. Only disappointment was being unable to use pool for a swim, we had rung the day before but t was already fully booked- put onto reserve list but no joy. Understand Covid regs etc but sorry that even prebooking didn't work! Super stay great price
Great trip. My 3 year old daughter has diary allergy so the chief made a special trip to the shop to get some ingredients to make her dinner. Really great service.

Overall great stay.
Lovely stay, great breakfast, hotel is a little dated and old but other than that all good. Bed was very comfortable.
Oberall very pleased with our stay. Our room was lovely and clean and the breakfast got us off to a great start the bext day. One of our windows disnt shut properly which let insome road noise and there were several flickering lights out in the cordidor that needed attention. We were informed after booking that our room was in part of the building that was about to get refurbished so we didnt mind much. Will definitely stay there again!
Good hotel. The members of staff who we met know what customer service really mean.
The hotel was quiet because of the restrictions, but the front desk was manned at all times.
The were all excellent.
The hotel could do with some renovations, but still it was excellent service all round.
The hotel was good. Friendly welcome explaining the Covid rules. First night thermostatic tap not working so no hot water, cold shower, too tired and late to complain. Cold shower in morning informed reception and was moved to another room. Internet good first night. Second night non existent.comfortable bed and pillows. Overall good value.

All good, room spotless although a bit tired.
Bathroom needs attention, bath peeling.
PROBLEM - your advert stated Breakfast included, but it wasn't and we had to pay extra £10 per person.

Great facilities at the hotel however my room was very tired and not what I had booked. Due to Covid measures no tea and coffee making facilities available due to possible contamination when using them but the remote Control for tv was, doesn’t make sense.
Generally comfortable room with clean bed and bath. Layout for using hairdryer and mirror for makeup could be better. Plenty of parking and friendly reception. Good value for money.
The room was in very bad condition. I took pictures for easy. It was dark and very uncomfortable. Came across old and dirty. Staff were nice enough but is not a place to visit.

Dated rooms but convenient location
Slightly dated - and needs to be good value
but friendly reception staff - who were helpful
Always get great service here. I request a room on the ground floor due a disability and they have always arranged this for me. The room is fairly small & is difficult to get into/out off the bed as one side is against the wall. The rooms are a bit tired but we always enjoy staying at this hotel.

Staff were excellent, the first room we were given had no shower curtain so we were moved. One of the reasons for booking this hotel was because the health club is advertised as 9 pm on website but it actually closes at 8. The lovely guy in there kept it open to 8.20 for us which was very much appreciated.
The room was ok, bathroom could do wit a deep clean/ refurb, bed very comfortable, air con didn't work and a radiator had been eft in the room and the hairdryer also didn't work. There are also not enough shampoo bottles for 2 people.
Food from room service was excellent.
There was a function going on somewhere so we could hear loud music in our room which was 2nd floor.

The room was very tired, paint scratched off, marks on carpet, lights not coming on from switch near door so had to fumble about in the dark.
Came back second night, long way to room and then key didn’t work.
Lovely housekeeping.
I was disappointed in this hotel. Our room was very dirty. We were traveling with two small children who wanted to use the pool. But we were not told that they actually closed half an hour before closing time. Then in the morning when we tried to go at the opening time we were told the first hour was for members only. Very frustrating for a family with children. We did eat dinner there and the food was fine. Breakfast was very nice.
Checked in late due to being held in traffic. Got on and was checked into a room on the side of the A5 despite requesting a room on the other side, it seems staff either don’t know the geography of the hotel or they don’t care which room they allocate you. On all the occasions I have been there my requests were turned down or acknowledged. The room was very tiny and carpets filthy, stained. Wardrobe had dust and the room smelt of dust.
