Lovely House with Amazing views
We stayed as a family (Mum, Dad & 3 adult children) for a week at this lovely house. From the balcony at the front of the house, the views across the Pagasetic Gulf are amazing and the setting about 15 minutes drive from the coast is beautiful and a few degrees cooler as a result of the height and the breeze. The owner and his family were next door and very welcoming (coffee and biscuits passed to me on the balcony most mornings when I was the first person up) and when we had a couple of questions they were answered quickly and efficiently. Parking next to the house is via a very steep road that was too much for me, but the parking below the house is a 2 or 3 minute walk away and no hassle at all. The nearby village is a 15 minute walk along a traffic-free path and has a couple of bars/coffee shops, 3 or so restaurants, a couple of mini-marts and
a few gift shops. The swimming pool was well kept and the inside of the house was clean, well-equipped and had everything we needed. All in all, a great place to stay for the week - we loved it.
