"We were disappointed to arrive 20 minutes prior to the 4pm and we were told room wasn't ready, there were no luggage carts as you had to walk up stairs to get to an elevator, but then the elevator was not working either, so we had to lug our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The bathroom was tiny and had no curtain or door that actually shut so water got every where on the floor that was no sink space. They did seem to have several restaurants associated with the hotel/s. Overall it was not "

"I’ve been waiting almost 3 hours (so far) since calling for the free shuttle. If I knew the way from the dock, it might’ve been faster to walk. They keep saying it’s on the way so I don’t dare miss it by visiting the restroom "

" Check-in was chaotic, with too many guests and not enough staff. I added an extra night through their website and received a confirmation email, yet the hotel couldn’t locate the reservation. Although the parent company could see it, staff treated the issue as if it weren’t a problem, leaving me to deal with the glitch myself. Parking is unreliable - don’t count on a spot if cruise guests are using the lot. The carpet is outdated, dirty, and smelly, and it bunches up, making it difficult to roll luggage. While the rates are lower, the overall experience is not worth it. Clarion do better and get rid of that carpet. No one has carpet anymore. "

"1st of all there is no airport shuttle then my wife was on her cycle and there was a lil blood on 2 sheets and not on the mattress and they charged me $100 for 2 sheet i could of went and bout 2 sheets for $20 and the breakfast buffet had food from the day before and they have not released my deposit 3 days later and did i mention they took $100 for 2 sheets and instead of taken the $100 out my deposit they charged my accout for that additional $100 "

"Poor reviews are primarily for interactions with management. First night I arrived the AC in my room was not working. After I already unpacked in the room and checked in, Management said they would not be able to fix it until the next day but offered me a different room in a completely “guesthouse” that was 15 mins walk away, but only for the first night until they could fix it. Obviously this was too inconvienet, so I suffered through the night with just a fan. Management reached out and apologized and said they would comp my first night, but that I had to reach out to hotels.com and let them know they had to reach out to Southernmost to initiate the refund. I did that, but waited two days and still didn’t hear anything from southernmost (and still haven’t to this day) about my refund. The $500/nt price for this price is just wild. The hotel and ammenities are pretty underwhelming, but at minimum I’d expect great service from management when issues like this happen. Unfortunately that was not my experience. "

"There was construction and they had built bleachers for spring break but you could somewhat see it. "

"I requested a king bed and got two queens. The shower water was too hot and very hard to regulate the temperature, either too hot or just cold, but hard to find a good spot in between. I found a cockroach in the bathroom one night. I don't plan to return. I'm surprised the Marriott chain has a hotel like this. "
