The Atterdag is a good place to stay to be in the midst of Solvang. We had an upstairs room and we liked the size of the room and the high ceilings and windows.

Location was great...within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bakeries in Solvang! Very close to lots of great vineyards. We are a family of 5 and the bathroom we got was a bit too small for all of us, but I think there are larger units available, we were just not lucky enough to get one of those due to availability at the time of booking.

I would definitely come back to stay. Great location if you want to stay downtown. A block away from the main street, which is nice if you want to get sleep at night.

Nice large room

Our room had plenty or room with large table in center which easily accommodated my brother and wife when they visited. Nice view out of large windows and very convenient to downtown shopping areas.

Location so Convenient!

Excellent location, very close to Solvang Festival theater and downtown. Communication from host was also excellent. Room was large, and very clean. Can’t wait to stay here again!

The location was prime as it was walking distance to everything in town! The room was semi-clean. The bed was clean but there were dead bugs (silver fish/spider) in the closet and drawers. It was semi clean in the sense that you can tell they cleaned up but not a deep clean. They provided a wine tour guide with places for a 2 for 1 pour which was cool! Overall if you are looking for a semi-affordable prime location spot then I would recommend. They were also very great with responding!

Perfect stay for a girls trip

Came here with 3 additional friends on a girls trip and had a great stay! It was very clean and minimalist. Check-in was simple and the hosts responded quickly to any contact we made. This inn is set in the heart of the town Solvang and we easily walked to meals and shopping. Grateful to have a parking spot!

Great location right in the center of town. Easy contactless check in. Parts of the room need to be repainted as the bottom of the doors had some noticeable scuffs. room was very spacious and comfortable.

everything was great until the following day we set out the sign on the door requesting the room to be cleaned while we were out. We came back about four hours later and it was still not cleaned. I spoke to the cleaning woman she indicated she would be done in 25 minutes. We went shopping, an hour later still not cleaned. The cleaning woman was leaving so I asked her as we needed clean towels and TP. She told us her supervisor told her not to clean the room. I spoke to the supervisor and she said they do not clean the room unless you stay three days. I asked for towels and TP but it was a big ordeal and I could not understand why. Great room but will not be stay there again as a simple thing like towels and toilet paper are only given on the third day. Otherwise you have to empty your own trash and make your own beds (just like home!)

We loved our stay and were very happy to stumble upon one of our new favorite restaurants, Whiskey N Rye next door. Loved the contactless check in and check out. The extra towels and pillows that we asked for before we got into town were already in our room when we arrived. The room was light, spacious and the hotel’s location was great. We will definitely stay at Atterdag again.

Very clean and neat. Nice frig/with small freezer. Had water with Atterdag Inn label and free. Also ticket for a local bakery for daisy and drink. Ticket for wine tasting two for one. Area at end very quiet. Had their own parking in the back.

The Atterdag Inn was overall a good hotel. We have stayed other places in Solvang that had better overall facilities, front desk, and parking for similar or lower cost. But this trip in particular we needed a bunk room, and this was the only option we found, and a good one. The room was not cleaned as thoroughly as I would have preferred, but was acceptable. And the room was very nice and met all of our needs well.

Great location - close to shopping and restaurants. Black out blinds, but difficult to get much natural light and maintain privacy. Some black mold in the corner of the shower. Strong smell of cleaning chemicals when you open the door.
