Great value for money. Beautiful surrounding and extra friendly staff. Dogs are welcome and you can directly walk from the property into the forests and nature parks with it's unique flora, fauna and wildlife. Highly recommended, not just for a budget overnighter..

Very Nice hotel

Very nice hotel... centrally close to the autobahn. Extremely friendly staff - hotel is a bit old... but it is nice and clean. Nice restaurant and good breakfast. Absolutely recommendable.

Old and Worn-out hotel

Stayed at this hotel during a visit to Heide Park. Chosen for its low price and decent appearance online, but the actual experience was disappointing. The hotel is very outdated and poorly maintained. Common areas and rooms show clear signs of wear—faded carpets, damaged furniture, dim lighting, and an overall neglected feel. The website photos are misleading and do not reflect the current condition. Our room was not properly cleaned: cobwebs on the ceiling, dusty shelves, and broken tiles in the bathroom. It felt like it hadn’t been deep-cleaned or refreshed in a long time. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. While the waiter was friendly and service was fast, he appeared unprofessional—worn-out clothes and poor hygiene, including dirty nails. The food was below average: the schnitzel lacked flavor, tasted of old oil, and the hollandaise sauce contained dried estragon. Portions were large, but the quality didn’t match the price. Breakfast was reasonable for the rate. The staff kept the buffet stocked and the area tidy. Staff were generally polite, but the overall service level was low. The hotel may suffice for a quick night’s sleep and basic breakfast, but don’t expect comfort or value beyond that. There are better options in the area, even just for a bed and a shower.

Staff nice but door banging all night

We didn't sleep for the three night we were there. There is a door from reception to the bedrooms, it was constantly banging loudly all night, keeping us awake. The hotel in general was very clean but the room wasn't cleaned each day, clean towels were put in the room and the bin was emptied but a new bin bag wasn't put in the bin and our coffee cups from the bar bar were not removed, after two day I took them to the myself, the tissues in the bathroom ran out and wasn't replaced with a new box

Værelset var fint. Men hver dag under rengøring blev radiatoren slukket og vi kom hjem til et koldt værelse. Da vi skulle spise aftensmad på hotellet, bad vi om glutenfri mad til min mand, som har cøliali. Han fik serveret en suppe med toastbrød i.. Vi måtte vente længe på en tjener, min mand fik herefter en ny suppe uden brød, efter vi andre havde spist vores suppe. Til morgenmaden var der ikke nogen mulighed for glutenfrie alternativer, og vi måtte selv skaffe glutenfrit brød fra supermarkedet. Vi kunne uden problemer lade vores elbil på hotellet under opholdet, til en fornuftig pris.

Unser Zimmer war für unseren Kurzurlaub in Ordnung...etwas hellhörige Zimmer, aber bequeme Betten. Zimmer und Bad bzw. das gesamte Hotel könnte eine Modernisierung gebrauchen. Aber es war alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Nette Bedienung und Personal. Gut gefallen hat uns, dass Hunde erlaubt sind. Wir waren im Erdgeschoss untergebracht und konnten gut mit dem Hund nach draußen und in dem angrenzenden Wald spazieren gehen. Die ruhige Lage des Hotels mit einer Vielzahl an Fahrrad/Wanderwegen in der Umgebung ist positiv zu erwähnen.

Kleines, aber feines Zimmer. Ein paar mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten für Klamotten und eins zwei Haken/Handtuchhalter im Bad wären sinnvoll. Billard und Kegelbahn vorhanden, wo man sich abends noch die Zeit vertreiben kann. Die Spielgeräte haben zwar schon viele Jahre hinter sich, stört aber m. E. nicht. Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Wir aßen jeden Abend dort. .
