Lovely place with great location

There is 24/7 service which is great. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the location is great! It's a bit noisy as it's above the restaurant, but still a very nice place to have stayed in. We also ate at their restaurant; prices are very reasonable and their chef prepared a lovely take-away breakfast for us as we checked out quite early.

Weekend i Transsylvanien.

Stilen er nok mere Gasthaus end hotel. Beliggende i den gamle bydel, er placering i top. Stedet er slidt og nok ikke for mere end en overnatning eller 2, men der er ok hyggeligt og personale er venligt og så er det jo virkelig prisvenligt. Der er masser af seværdigheder og gode spisesteder og så er alt indenfor gåafstand. Sibiu har masser af kultur og vi var heldige med koncert og en masse andre aktiviteter.

Case Frieda hotel

Reception was a cigarette kiosk, accommodation upstairs overlooking the back yard, where they seemed to restock the bottles in the early hours, frequently smashing bottles. Room - air con didn’t work, decor very dated, mattresses uncomfortable, Black mould in the shower. Restaurant food was ok and breakfast you ordered from the menu which was ok, omelettes. It’s a shame, the restaurant outside area is quite a substantial size and they therefore cater to a lot of people, but they are certainly not investing any profit back into the hotel itself.

Pension vieillotte très moyenne

J'ai choisi Casa Frieda pour un séjour professionnel à Sibiu, parce que les grands hotels (Ibis, Continental et Ramada) étaient pleins pendant mes dates de séjour et parce que l'hotel avait de bonnes revues sur le site. J'ai l'habitude de voyager pour le travail et je sais que les standings d'un pays à l'autre varient beaucoup. Aussi, sur les photos, on voit bien que les chambres ne sont pas super modernes. Néanmoins, la réalité a été bien pire. Peinture écaillée, déco vieillote, armoires massives, chambre très sombre ... J'ai eu une grosse fuite d'eau dans la chambre que j'ai signalée le matin à la femme de ménage, qui s'est contentée de nettoyer l'eau, de remplacer la serviette sans en parler au propriétaire de l'hotel. Il n'y a pas de véritable réception, tout se fait à la fenêtre d'une petite boutique ouverte 24/24 où les gens viennent acheter leurs cigarettes et leur bière au milieu de la nuit ... D'ailleurs, hotel est un bien grand mot, il s'agit plutôt d'une pension qui a besoin d'un gros rafraichissement. Heureusement que le wifi marchait bien ...

Good Budget Hotel in central Sibiu

Spent 3 nights at the Casa Frieda in January ,18 Our check in took less than 5 minutes, the room was basic but , clean and warm with a walk in shower. The Breakfast was a bit confusing as we were unsure what was included in the price, however it transpired that we had a free choice from the menu which had a good selection of hot and cold food. We also had dinner twice in the hotel restaurant, good standard of food at a reasonable price. (One suggestion turn off the TV it does not add anything to the dinning experience and distracts both customers and staff.) The location is excellent just below the main square and in easy walking of most of the sights, 15 mins walk from the railway station Will use again when in Sibiu Dave and Sal Yorks

LOVED OUR STAY AT CASA FRIED

What a great idea to have accommodation behind a restaurant. Our room was nice and comfortable, breakfast was lovely as was the meals at the restaurant - I would rate the food very highly. As an accommodation owner myself there are a couple of small points that I would love to see improved ( I will add here that these two issues would not stop me staying there again but would improve my stay) 1/ I believe that tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms is a "must" as I, together with 98% of the World, wake up and love a coffee to start the day but don't like to run outside in our PJ's to get one and 2/ workers at the back of the restaurant must be reminded that there are paying guests staying there and it would be nice if the noise level was kept down somewhat. Other than that, we loved the place and will tell everyone we know to stay there. We absolutely loved the freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast. Well done Casa Frieda

Home atmosphere

It was like being a guest in someone's home. Incredible food provided for small extra fee. Perfect location for walking or driving further into the Apuseni Mountains. Caveat: The only problem is in finding the place itself! The building has no sign on it, nor is its address (nr 33) indicated. In short, it's like going to an Air B'n'b, not anything remotely like the "hotel" or "lodge" that one might be picturing in his/her mind. But once located, it's heaven.

Hotel mit altem Flair, im Stadtzentrum gelegen

Für Touristen liegt das Haus äußerst verkehrsgünstig. von hier aus sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der historischen Stadt fußläufig einfach zu erreichen. Taxistand gleich in der Nähe, aber keine eigenen PKW-parkplätze.

Hyggelig hotell i hjertet av sentrum.

Casa Frieda er et veldig hyggelig, gammelt hotell i begynnelsen av Sibius største gågate. Rommet var stort, pent og rent. Frokosten var grei og oppholdet var helt førsteklasses. Servicen på hotellet var svært god også. Dette kan virkelig anbefales!

El mejor alojamiento en Sibiu!

De todos los alojamientos que he probado en Sibiu, Casa Frieda es sin duda el mejor. El restaurante de la pensión ofrece platos típicos de calidad. Las habitaciones y el patio interior de la pensión son muy acogedores. Situado en la calle más comercial de Sibiu.
