Exceptional value hotel and very friendly place.

The hotel was immaculate, the rooms are a little tired but very clean. The staff was very professional and were able to assist with any requests. It is an unbelievable value. it is situated at the end of the beach. The beach is teaming with fish. Saw octopus and rays just in the coral right in front of the hotel. You can walk from the hotel to scuba dive or arrange for some of the best diving in the world with oondas.

My stay at Oonas was pleaseant. The room is a bit outdated, but it is kept clean and is quite spacious. The bathroom is quite outdated, but also kept quite clean and it does its work. One downside of the room is the isolation of the sliding doors. There are lots of places in the vicinity which play loud music. This music is noticeably hearable in the room. During the week the music is mostly played from around 20:00 and 22:30/23:00, but during the weekend it can go on until quite late. It can be quite an annuisance. I luckily had sleeping pills with which I was able to go to sleep. A positive side of Oonas is its location which is at the beginning of the boulevard. The boulevard has lots of stores and restaurants and it leads to the center of Nama Bay. I bought a 5 day diving package at Oonas as well. The dives were perfectly arranged and well lead by different dive masters/instructors. We went to different locations each day. The dive master/instructor took good care of all the individual divers.

Mosquitoes music and cash only

This was one of my worst stays in quite some time. Fortunately only a night. I had arranged payment through Expedia only to be told they were having “banking problems” so ended up, despite back and forth with Expedia, having to pay cash. Loud music from the other side of the bay until 3am meant that I had to put the mattress in the bathroom and sleep on the floor there to get away from the bass. Having travelled 8 hours by bus and flying 6 hours the next day all I wanted was to rest and that did not happen. Nice view from balcony. Take away the mosquitoes and the music and it would have been decent. Seeing as the restaurant did not accept card payment, I don’t believe the banking problems story.. just irritating for guests that have paid with a card and don’t expect or want the aggravation of atms and cash - personally I dislike cash for anything so these guys need to get into 2024 and stop annoying their guests.

After lots of research on the internet for accommodation that would suit me, I came across Oonas Dive Centre. It ticked all the boxes..... At the quieter end of Naama Bay, with all rooms having a balcony with a side sea view. And access to the beach next ddor owned by Swiss Hotel. The value of this stay was outstanding. Breakfast was included as was beach access and towels. The view from my balcony was to die for especially at sunset. I would like to thank all of the staff for their great hospitality especially Mohannad at the front desk who was very helpful and efficient in arranging airport transfers and making sure all was in order for me. He is very kind. I will definitely be returning. Thank you again!

I only stayed here for one night but had a good experience.The staff were welcoming and friendly and had an excellent breakfast. They have a dive center and wish I’d stayed here longer. A good hotel on a budget and really happy with air conditioning to keep cool and part sea view

The rooms are basic but fine for a few days. The bed was a bit hard. The beach is pleasant but make sure you arrive early in the morning because it is shared with the hotel next door. The adults only section of the beach could be expanded to provide more peace for those without children trying to relax.

We stayed there for a diving experience. Excellent dive centre next door with brilliant instructors -highly recommend it!! The hotel is convenient, clean, with spacious rooms and views to the sea. What makes it a great stay are the amazing staff and their hospitality. Went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Would definitely stay here on our next visit.

Very nice staff. Very low key, low stress. Right on the beach with the cutest tropical fish. Walkway along beach to shops restaurants and tourist things. Good breakfast included. Nice room with balcony overlooking the ocean. Really enjoyed my three days there. Absolutely gorgeous town, a must see.

There was no major issues, but would be good if the hotel accepted card payments, and also if they included free bottled water with your stay. Also the juice cups at breakfast are very tiny.

Per la seconda volta abbiamo alloggiato in questo Hotel semplice ma funzionale.Il persoanle è tutto molto cortese. Unico "neo" sono i bagni che pur essendo molto ampi sono molto vecchi e spesso con qualche problema. Andrebbero rifatti poco alla volta. Per il resto tutto benissiomo e ci torneremo sicuramente. Un grazie ad Hamed sempre molto gentile e disponibile!

Otel sadece konum olarak iyiydi. Tek avantajı plajının olması. Eski olmasını anlarım mısır otellerinin geneli eski zaten ama temiz değildi. Havluların hepsi lekeli. İlk gün çarşafta uyuyamadık. Tshirtlerimizi yastığa geçirdik ama 3. Gün pisliğe alıştık 😂

ein sehr kleines, älteres Hotel Bäder etwas älter aber sauber praktisch direkt am Strand Tauchclub dabei umweltbewusst sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, aber nicht übertrieben wir mögen das Hotel sehr gerne, weil wir weder Animation noch sonstigen unnötigen Schnickschnack mögen einzig die Musik der angrenzenden Hotels ist zu laut, es sollen aber neue Fenster eingebaut werden

The staff was so helpful and wonderful! We had a great view and the private beach was full of sea life. The hotel was quiet and is just a few minutes walk from shopping and night life. The restaurant attached had excellent service and the prices were great. Definitely will stay again!

A great dive stay

A great all round package. Comfortable, quiet room, clean bedding, daily room clean, hot shower, fridge & kettle & a nice size balcony. Clean room and beach towels every day too. Dive centre, accommodation,bar and well priced food are all together. A great dive stay with everything made easy. The noise and bright lights of Naama Bay are a level 20min stroll away or just a couple of ££ in a taxi. The staff here were all Outstanding, friendly and efficient, with nothing to much trouble.

Wir kommen wieder! Ein tolles kleines Hotel, wo der Gast König ist. Wünsche werden sofort erfüllt und Extras sind kein Problem. Alle sind sehr freundlich und entspannt. Corona bedingt gibt es Einschränkungen, aber hier werden nur Hygiene Konzepte umgesetzt. ( alles in Plastik verpackt, kein Buffet beim Frühstück) Das sind aber keine Minuspunkte, so wie in anderen Bewertungen. Unser Zimmer war perfekt und die Terrasse ist der Hammer. Hier kann man den ganzen Tag verbringen. Am Strand sind sehr viele Liegen mit dicken gemütlichen Auflagen, einfach Perfekt. Abfallbehälter könnten größer sein. ( nur eine Empfehlung) Wir finden an diesem Hotel nichts negatives. Man sollte immer das Preis- Leistung Verhältnis sehen. Wenn ich 5* brauche, muss ich diese Buchen. Ich kann nicht 2* buchen und 5* verlangen. Für uns war alles PERFEKT😃 Dankeschön für den tollen Aufenthalt und machen Sie weiter so.

В этом отеле отдыхаем не в первый раз, очень удобное расположение, красивый коралловый риф, хорошие завтраки, лояльные цены в местном ресторане, все блюда очень вкусные. Повезло с погодой, вода была тёплая, плавали больше часа ( не всегда так бывает в марте) . Уже не в первый раз пишу, что этот отель только для тех кого интересует тихий спокойный отдых, номера на третьем этаже очень маленькие, если есть возможность просите номера на втором, белье чистое, уборка качественная, но сам отель уже требует обновления

Mosquitos are very many inside and outside the rooms and it did not make me sleep in one moment so annoying. In addition, there is no room service. There is a person in Risabish named Ahmed. He treated him very beast and did not smile in the face of the guests.. was very difficult days 😢
