Fabulous Stay!

Staff were amazing! So helpful and friendly. Bed was very comfortable. We stayed in Villa 9: Outdoor living space was wonderful. I would highly recommend providing secure ladder to get in and out of every villa pool. Restaurant food was very good and breakfast was amazing. Close to shops, restaurants and beach.

Welcome to Bali.

Room that are even numbered are backed onto a busy road. The odd numbered back onto construction. Great location to the mall shopping restaurants and beach. Staff were very friendly. The restaurant served good food. Would I go stay there again. Yes overall I would give it a solid 4.5 out of 5

Loved our stay

We had a fabulous stay here. Nada and all the staff are wonderful, friendly, kind, helpful and take an interest in your day. The location is great, Villa has everything you need, even mozzie spray. Food at the hotel is really good, breakfast included is excellent a wide range to choose from and any extras are only a few dollars and well worth it. We had dinner there one night and it was really good too. The only thing that we discussed that would help is a rail for getting out the pool, but we managed so not a huge problem. Loved our stay so much, everything was perfect. Thank you again to all the staff xxx

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wished the toilet was air-conditioned though as it's very humid and hot when you need to do your business. The reception area can do with some air-conditioning too as it's very hot and stuffy during check in.

Beautiful stay in Bali.

We had the best stay. I picked here due to location and private boutique feel. All the reviews I read before coming were all very similar and correct. The villas are beautiful with a big pool, big comfy bed, and very private with fabulous hotel service if required. Great location also,near to the beach and minutes from shops, restaurants etc. the staff were so lovely and helpful and the breakfast each morning from the menu at kassavo restaurant was fabulous. We read a few reviews about noise from a work sight nearby and busy road noise but we didnt seem to hear much at all didn’t bother us at all. Thankyou so mcih would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Royal Samaja. We were picked up from the airport on time and by such a friendly staff member who made us feel welcome instantly. The best part of our stay was the location. It was an easy 4min walk to Seminyak Village and the beginning of Eat Street. So many options for lunch and dinner all within a 4-15min walk. Breakfast at the villa was wonderful. Our 12 year old decided that the pancakes were better than the two other ‘instagram-able’ places we visited during our holiday. The pool was always a great temperature. The villas were clean. The staff were friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The only negative was the uncomfortable pillows and the TV with bad reception. And if that’s the only negative… I think that proves what a great place it was to stay. We will absolutely stay at Royal Samaja again.

Hotel is good value for money and is right in the middle of Seminyak so it’s very easy to walk to the town etc. each apartment comes with its own pool and the rooms are really nice. The downfall is the noise, all the odd numbered rooms are right next to a Main Street and as everyone drives mopeds its super loud. If you’re a light sleeper you will struggle to sleep. I would say though we asked to change to an even numbered room away from the street and it was much better. The staff accommodated us really well and the service was always good.

When we first arrived we discovered that it was the street outside was too noisy for my husband and we requested that we move to the other side of the complex. This was done without any issues and very promptly. Thank you Royal Samaja. Once settled in to our 'new' Villa all was very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were wonderful. I had two Balinese massages while we were there and Era was amazing. Once again thank you Royal Samaja for a great stay.

Royal Samaja was a gorgeous villa with good air on, huge bed, beautiful bathroom overlooking pool , beautiful gardens, easy 2min walk to Seminyak Square, 10min to cafe Mano on the beach . Walking distance to jiwa yoga . Lovely driver Yogi picked me up from the airport , great friendly staff. The noise of construction site close by was annoying as one evening they worked til midnight and commenced every day at 6.30am. TV I couldn't get to work properly and no good movie channels I could find. I could of asked reception to fix but really didn't watch TV that often to bother me but for others could be a problem . Overall loved my 5 night stay and would definitely go back if I can get for another great rate thru Expedia.

Noise and pollution

The staffs were great. Wonderful people. The facility is terrible. The villas are a wall away from the road where cars and motorbikes pass by day and night. The traffic noise and pollution made us feel like we were sleeping out on a street. There is only one glass sliding door to bedroom area and the bathroom door is not sealed so lots of mosquitoes. The water quality is terrible. The towels become yellow after one use because of the bad water. I brought a shower head with clean filters but they only have rain shower head so I couldn’t change it to my shower filter. The bath tub had terribly slow drain. I stayed there for six days and it was a survival challenge. The food was great and the breakfast service was excellent. But everything else was hard to endure.
