The hotel is located in a very beautiful area, on the shore of the lake. It is few minuted walk from the castle and from the port. It has a very nice restaurant with a view on the lake. We had a bit of a problem with sauna which was not turned on on time and thus it was not at the appropriate temperature.

Turhan venäläinen paikka meidän makuun

Hyvä sijainti Olavinlinnaan ja rantaan nähden mikä mahdollistaa ylihinnoittelun, ainakin kesällä. Kuuma huone, ikkunan sai auki, mutta sitten kadun äänet häiritsi. Nukuimme todella huonosti. Aamupala suppea, periaatteessa hyvätasoinen, mutta kaikki oli vähän väliä loppu.

Der Stil des Hauses und der Zimmer aus früherer Zeit hat durchaus Charme; der Preis (fast 140€ für einen Alleinreisenden) ist aber völlig überzogen im Hinblick auf die Unzulänglichkeiten: kein Aufzug, keine Klimaanlage (fast 30°C im Zimmer aufgrund der Hitzewelle - jedoch Ventilator vorhanden), kein warmes Wasser in der Früh, Rezeption nur bis 21h besetzt. Positiv erwähnt sei das Engangement der jungen Dame an der Rezeption, die mich am Abend der Anreise telefonisch und per Mail versuchte zu kontaktieren (wobei hotels.com die Nachricht erst sehr viel später weiterleitete).

Hotelli oli kaunis ja persoonallinen. Aamupalalla oli molempina aamuina tilanne, että useat tarjottavat olivat loppu (kahvi, kurkku, juusto, munakas..) ja meni sitten odotellessa. Pekonia ei ollut ollenkaan ja vohveleiden kanssa olisi maistunut kermavaahto. Aamusauna oli tosi jees

Hieno idyllinen hotelli. Upea vanhan ajan sisustus. Henkilökunta mukavaa. Uimaranta aivan hotellin edessä. Erinomainen aamiainen. Huomiota herätti, että jopa margariini oli valmiiksi paloiteltu ja voi oli mukavan pehmeää, vaikka oltiin ensimmäisten joukossa aamupalalla. Ilmeisesti keittiö herännyt melkoisen aikausin. Usein hotelliaamiaisella saa tehdä töitä, että saa kivikovasta voista jotain irti. Kaikki tämä kertoo, että asiakasta todellakin ajatellaan. Kiitos keittiöhenkilökunta. Kiitos vastaanotto ja siivoojat, kun hoiditte huoneen vaihdon nopeasti ja kivuttomasti jo aamupäivän aikana. (Olisimme halunneet varausta tehdessä parvekkeellisen huoneen kahdeksi yöksi, mutta huone oli jo varattu ensimmäisen yön osalta, joten vietimme ensimmäisen yön toisenlaisessa huoneessa, mutta toinen yö parvekkeellisessa. Vaihto kävi jouhevasti.)
