Very clean, convenient location

This place was spotless. It is no frills but we are budget travelers. The staff was very helpful. The only downside was that the location was noisy. I slept with earplugs at night to solve that.

Made to wait outside in sweltering heat

Hotel is quite good & comfortable but I did not appreciate when I was asked to wait outside in the heat for a long time when I had turned up early and early check-in was not possible. The least I expect from a hotel is to allow a wait at the Reception area. I was specifically told that I could not wait in the Reception area.

Best place to stay on Santorini

This was my second stay at Villa Ilios. It’s still great! Ideally located between Fíra (the capital) and Kasterados, there are comfortable rooms with terraces, and a swimming pool! Eirini is incredibly friendly, helpful and fun to talk to!:-) There’s a bus stop closeby and parking is easy. Good value too!

A small hotel with great staff and clean rooms(small bathroom). Walkable to the main tourist streets of Fira (10mins.) ; also on local bus route. Shops /cafes/ restaurants/food market 5:00min.walks.. I would definitely stay there again.

Awesome hotel with great and helpful staff. Close to everything. We got in super early (8am) and decided to sit and relax by the pool until our quads had arrived and they came at 10 and we got into our room by 10:15!! (Check in wasn’t suppose to be until 2!) My only conpliants would be its very noisey and the beds aren’t comfy (like at all..... - hard as rock)

Good location. Easy walk up to main drag and cable car and in the middle of the island to have easy access to everything else. Very clean but if the beds could be updated with higher, comfortable mattresses I would stay there again. They were lumpy, hard and small, typical of the smaller places we stayed at in Greece.

Very nice near fira centre

Bus stop right out from of hotel, super easy to get to via bus from airport. Nice strip of shops down the road easy to travel to. Plus a 10 minute walk to the centre of Fira, including bus terminal to go to anywhere in Santorini. Hotel facility is very clean, nice option to lay by the pool if not wanting to visit a beach. If you wake up early enough you can get a beautiful view of the sunrise too Hotel staff are very friendly, always there to help if you need anything extra

Good, quiet hotel

Villa Ilios is conveniently located, short walk (10 mins) to Fira Bus Stand. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave us useful information about what to do while in Santorini and also gave us complimentary water bottles which was very nice of them. The room was clean, spacious and cosy. We had a great stay here and would highly recommend this quiet, family managed hotel. Didnt get a chance to use the pool but it looked perfect for unwinding after a adventurous day @ Santorini.

Billig og greit

Helt greit og billig hotell cirka 10-12 minutters gange fra sentrum. Deilig svømmebasseng og hyggelig vertskap. Det eneste som kan trekke litt ned for enkelte er veien som går forbi hotellet kan støye litt på dagtid - men dette merket vi ikke så mye til etter 1 dag.

Kan godt komme tilbake til Villa Ilios

Helt greit og rimelig hotell. Gåturen til sentrum tar 10 minutter. Kafeer med frokost i nærheten (vi spiste ikke frokost på hotellet) , og minimarked kun 3 minutter unna. Hyggelig betjening og rent. Svømmebasseng et var kjærkomment og tiltalende, siden hotellet ligger et stykke fra stranden.

Αξιοπρεπής και οικονομική πρόταση έξω από τα Φηρά

Λιτό, καθαρό και αξιοπρεπές ξενοδοχείο, πάνω στον κεντρικό δρόμο περίπου 15 λεπτά (1km) με τα πόδια από τα Φηρά. Οι οικοδεσπότες, ο Μανόλης και η Βαλάντω, ήταν πολύ φιλικοί και εξυπηρετικοί. Με θερμοκρασία στους 40 βαθμούς, η ύπαρξη πισίνας ήταν σωτήρια. Προτείνεται για όσους δεν τους ενδιαφέρει η θέα ή ο περιβάλλων χώρος.

Good location

Nice little place. Stayed for a wedding where most of the other guests stayed in a massive over-priced resort around the corner (where you don't actually see the caldera unless you're stood on the main road). This place has a quiet pool area and is a 10-minute walk to the centre of Thira for about a fifth of the cost. Standard Greek room. Pillow too hard but air con and fridge were really useful. Not for a family but then Santorini is not a family place. No breakfast but bakeries two minutes either side.

Great Pool

Villa Ilios was a great base for our trip to Santorini. Only. Short walk into Fira and close to restaurants and a supermarket. They have a beautiful pool which was great. The staff there were very helpful and arranged to urgently post us some items we left behind which was amazing!!

Perfect for it's price.

We stayed for a week in Villa Ilios. It is approx. 10mins away from the Airport- but we took the taxi. We wanted to get the bus but the intervals of it's arrival is always 1hour, and waiting for that long is tiring (Beware of the taxi drivers- if you can get it cheaper- get it.). Vill Ilios is run by a family. The Family were nice and very accomodating. The place was always cleaned and for it's price - it's actually perfect. The Hotel is probably 10-15minutes walking distance from Fíra. And from there on is where you can get the main Bus. But nearby the hotel were also a bus top, shops, bakerys, resto, and even a supermarket. Well, you can find a mini market everywhere. Point is, it is worth staying there. And you are near the center!

Great staff and great value

The family working the hotel were very friendly and willing to help. They accommodated us despite an early arrival, shared local wine with us and told us about its production. The pool was well kept and the mini-fridge in the room was a huge perk. There's also a really great, 24/7 bakery that is just a 3 minute walk up the street. The bus stop to pretty much every bus that goes around the island (except Oia) is just a 1 minute walk from the hotel.
