Loved my stay here, it's very quiet and the rooms are great. Breakfast was lovely. Convenience store a 3 min drive, or 15 min walk away.

Nice, quiet hotel with great staff. Enjoyable breakfast and dinner. My only complaint would be the shower head is in need of replacement, the water didn't spray out, it just fell out like a tap.

Mooie accommodatie (kleinschalig, maar goede kwaliteit). Centraal in het westen gelegen en ideaal voor uitstapjes naar Funchal, oostpunt, Porta Cruz/Santana en Areeiro. Eigen (huur-)auto is wel een must. Huis was goed, maar de tuin was niet erg goed onderhouden....

La habitación estaba genial, muy bonita y amplia al igual que el baño. Muebles rústicos de madera y tonos cálidos. Las vistas desde la terraza preciosas a la montaña. Desayuno bastante bueno, un poco de todo.

Sehr freundliches Personal und insgesamt guter Service. Die Räume und Einrichtungen waren sehr sauber. Das Hotel ist etwas abgelegen in einer parkähnlichen Gegend mit toller Aussicht auf die Berge. Sehr ruhig und ideal zum Ausspannen.. Die Begrüßung beim Check in war sehr freundlich. Es gibt ein Kaminzimmer wo jeden Abend der Kamin angefeuert wurde und wo man sich gut zum Lesen oder chillen Abends bei einem guten Glas Wein aufhalten konnte.Das Frühstück ist eine Mischung aus englischem und kontinentalen Frühstück mit Rührei, Speck und Toastbrot aber auch ganz leckere Brötchen, Müsli und immer frisch zubereiteten Früchten. Nur der Kaffee war für unseren Geschmack etwas dünn. Beim Abendessen kann man aus verschiedenen Menus wählen. Wir haben allerdings nur am ersten Abend dort gegessen weil wir die Restaurants auf der Insel ausprobieren wollte.

A real experience of Madeira

This Quinta was charming. Not in the general tourist area it was perfect for walking with the Lavadas right on the doorstep. The staff were lovely. The only downside was the fact coffee and tea are not provided in the rooms. The food was very good but not large helpings.

Wir war eine Woche in diesem kleinen Hotel. Es hat insgesamt 9 Zimmer und ist optimal geeignet für Einzelpersonen oder Paare. Ein Auto ist erforderlich, da von dort aus keine Busse fahren. Die nächste Ortschaft ist ca. 1,5 km entfernt. Bis nach Santa Cruz sind es ca. 8 km. Das Personal ist super zuvorkommend und sehr sehr freundlich. Es ist eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Der Garten ist schön und es gibt Liegen dort. Jedes Zimmer hat Balkon oder Terrasse. Das Frühstück ist ok (Brötchen, Brot, Käse, Schinken, Bacon, Rührei, frisches Obst, Marmelade, Müsli, Kaffee, Tee, Saft und Wasser). Wir haben 4 mal im Hotel zu Abend gegessen. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Was uns besonders gut gefallen hat, ist dass alles sehr liebevoll hergerichtet ist (mit vielen Blumen dekoriert). Abends haben wir immer mit einem Rotwein vor dem Kamin auf einer der kuscheligen Sofas verbracht. Es ist sehr ungezwungen. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet, was aber für diesen Preis absolut in Ordnung ist. Wir haben in dem Bett sehr gut geschlafen. Absolute Empfehlung von uns.

Le seul point négatif est le manque d’isolation sonore de la chambre mais ce n’était pas vraiment dérangeant parce qu’en général il fait très calme. Les employés étaient très sympathiques. Hôtel à conseiller.

Idyllisches Hotel in den Bergen

Sehr schönes, kleines Hotel - perfekt für alle, die Entspannung suchen. Uns hat besonders der wunderschöne Garten und der Blick auf die Berge gefallen. Ich kann das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen!

Dejlig beliggenhed og venligt personale.

Fantastisk beliggenhed i bjergene. Her er roligt og afslappende. Covo do Milho er fint udgangspunkt for nogle fantastiske levadavandringer - og man møder ikke mange andre på turene. Feks levada Nova neden for stedet - og i den anden ende af den nærliggende lille bjergby Santo da Serra er der to andre der kan kombineres i en rundtur. Morgenmaden er rigtig dejlig og varieret.
