From the minutei walked into the lobby , Michael was there waiting and knew who i was (by name) . Very pleasant! Our room was #16 , very clean and so quite there. the pool was right in front. We try enjoyed our qick stay. Definitely will go again and stay 2 night. Location was perfect too! Small market place like 4 min walk. Tipsy turtle is right next door too!

Old Florida Gem

I enjoyed my stay. I was only there one night on business, but it was nice and relaxing. It has a great old Florida feel, shaded and relaxed. Check in was easy and everyone was friendly. Yes, I guess you could say it was "dated" as some reviews said, but my room was clean, inviting, and more than functional. Nice pool area also. If you're looking for the Ritz, go elsewhere, but if you're looking for affordable, clean, and comfortable lodging this is a great choice in Sanibel. Thanks for the hospitality.

Cute little old fashion beachy vibe room. Super clean with a very roomy shower. Small kitchenette was adequate in size and stocked with coffee maker, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and toaster. Bed too hard for my liking (I did not sleep at all while there) but my husband had no issues with it. Close drive to beaches which is why we were there. Small market within walking distance for ice, drinks, sandwiches, salads and other items. Would book property again.

The only real knock on the property was that both mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. They seemed to be well woren as you would roll into the middle of the bed. We tried both beds and got the same result. This was in unit #20. Aside from that this was a great place to stay, very quiet and the grounds were well kept! Cottage was cute....

This was my 3rd stay at Anchor Inn and as always it was top notch! The location of the property, the staff, the cost, the facilities, and amenities are absolutely wonderful. The bed was so comfortable the my fiancee and I are going to purchase one for our home! Plus they are amazingly pet friendly. I would recommend to any and all to stay here.

The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. I had 2 dogs. Most places tolerate dogs; the wonderful staff here welcome them. Everyone was so accommodating, warm and kind. I cannot recommend highly enough

Such a fun stay here! Free bikes, just had to get there early! Shuffleboard, corn hole, horseshoes, and a little gator named Oscar. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
