The receptionist was virtual, so that was a very unique experience . Clean rooms and very quiet location , close to a beautiful park with a short hiking trail . Beautiful view of the water and city and right across the street from Cow palace and close enough to mission st that had a ton of great food . . The location was super convenient . The $50 deposit fee was the lowest fee I could find along with the $11 on-site parking fee . 30-40 minutes from the bridge the pier ‘

There is no receptionist. You talk to a machine with a guy in India. They are so lazy. No security. Rooms small. Furniture worn out and shaky. Bathroom completely worn out like things people throw away. Am surprised that Expedia is working with such hotels and even recommended them.

We had originally booked for 2 nights but had such a terrible experience after the first night, we checked out early. Staff were not that friendly or accommodating. The online pictures did not look like they did in real life. For example, we had booked a room with 2 queen beds. In the pictures, it showed one bed, a night stand in between, and then the second bed. When we arrived, the 2nd bed was in a different room with only enough space to walk around the bed. The bathroom was so small my husband couldn't even fit on the toilet or turn around in the shower. The bed was so uncomfortable, my husband was unable to sleep all night. The room smelled old and musty. Even the parking was so tight the person on the passenger side of the car could not get out once parked. I had read online there was supposed to be a free breakfast but there was no breakfast provided at all. We were celebrating our anniversary and this was not ideal in any way for how we wanted to spend our time. To top it off, the hotel has a policy not to refund your money if you decide not to stay the entire length of time you originally booked. A very disappointing trip.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful experience at Alpine Inn. We stayed 7 nights and felt welcomed right away. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant, and the housekeeping ladies were amazing—everything was always clean and fresh. It’s also surprisingly calm and quiet, almost like you’re away from the city. Highly recommended
