Quiet and comfortable hotel

This is a very comfortable hotel which is close to the airport. It is perfect for one night stay when your flight landed at the airport too late. The only issue is the Spa and sauna which was closed but appeared to be available on the hotel introduction.

A bit souless but I guess to be expected for a motel near the airport on a Sunday night. The older chap on reception during the night shift very early on the Monday morning was quite friendly though.

The property was great. Pool was amazing. No amenities in walking distance (safe walking distance as no pavements in places on the main road) Staff were great. Breakfast had a great selection. Dinner was good. Toasties available at lunch. Shuttles available to the train stations on request.

We only stayed one night before our flight out of Italy. If you are arriving via public transportation make sure you arrange transport from the station with the hotel. They have a convenient van. If you arrive from ciampino note taxis have a mandatory minimum of 35 euros even if you are going 1 km. The area surrounding the property is beautiful. Americans take note: you need to wear a swimming cap to swim in the very lovely pool. I think this property would be particularly amazing if you plan to tour the Apian Way and have a car. For those sensitive the room had a very strong air freshener.

Excellent hotel in country location

Small friendly hotel only one stop outside Rome centre. Bus shuttle picked us up from railway and took us to and from metro and to airport on return. Excellent service. Room adequate. Shower good and plenty of hot water and towels. Breakfast good and evening meal. Lunch needs a more extensive range.

Overall the stay was nice enough when you’re not spending lots of time in the hotel. Walking around the room even after a cleaning and from the day we arrived got your feet very dirty and no door on the shower left the room easily soaked.

Disappointing Experience – Beware of Reception Staff. Our stay at Picolo Borgo was frustrating from the start due to the incredibly rude and unhelpful receptionist. Communication around the shuttle pickup from the metro station was a nightmare, and even basic assistance was met with attitude. Although we were told the pool would stay open later, we were forced out five minutes before closing,needlessly strict and poorly handled.Despite being just a 10-minute drive from the airport, no shuttle was available in the morning. The receptionist refused to help arrange a taxi and even tried to overcharge us,quoting €35 for a ride we ended up booking ourselves for €20 using the FreeNow app.The location is remote with nothing nearby,so make sure to bring food if you're staying overnight. Overall, the rude service and lack of basic hospitality made this a poor experience. I would not recommend staying here.

Quedé completamente enamorado de este hotel. Desde el primer día, la atención de todo el personal fue excepcional: amables, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Las instalaciones son preciosas, con camas amplias y comodísimas, y unos baños espectaculares. El desayuno fue excelente, con gran variedad y productos de muy buena calidad. Además, el hotel ofrece un servicio de traslado gratuito hasta la estación de metro de Cinecittà, lo cual facilita muchísimo moverse por toda Roma, incluyendo el Vaticano y todas las zonas turísticas. Al regreso, el mismo hotel te recoge justo donde te dejó, un detalle que marca la diferencia. Durante nuestros seis días en Roma, el Hotel Piccolo Borgo hizo que nuestra estancia fuera maravillosa, cómoda y muy especial. ¡Les doy una puntuación del 100%! La struttura è ottima, il posto è anche molto tranquillo in periferia, l'unico problema se così si può definire è che è proprio sulla linea di atterraggio di alcune linee aeree su aereoporto di Ciampino per cui durante il giorno, per fortuna non di notte, specialmente alla prima volta che succede, quando arriva l'aereoplano si fa un salto dal rumore. Comunque molto buona la camera, ottima la pulizia, molto buona la colazione

Olvidé tomar la foto a la cama eran dos mini camas juntas era un colchón más alto que otro a cada rato teníamos que levantarnos a organizarlas en la madrugada me caí entre medio de las mini camas y me hice daño mi novio que tenia que trabajar muy temprano estaba muy cansado Los de recepción si eran muy amables
