My family greatly enjoyed our stay in Castel Gondolfo. The property had a beautiful view of the lake and there were many dining options within a couple minute walk from the front door. The host was very helpful and responsive to our questions.

Excellent place to stay. Perfect location for the old town and its small but wonderful character Lovely people and a really nice room with a great terrace overlooking the lake. Lovely time and well worth a stay.

We are 3 friends on a bike through Italy. The Atlantis Inn was wonderful. We had the 2-bedroom suite and the beds were comfortable, the accommodations were spacious and the views were stunning from our balcony. The room decor was great - particularly loved the wooden beamed ceilings. The owner, Domenico, has a joke and smile for everyone and provided us with great, free coffee as well as washing powder (since we really needed to do some laundry at this point). In terms of location, besides providing beautiful views of the lake, the hotel is very close to great restaurants. Highly recommended.

We had a beautiful , charming, 2 bedroom apartment looking over the lake, with a lovely little kitchen and living room with a fireplace. The rooms were spotless. The location was perfect, just a few steps to the palace and main square. I would definitely stay there again and will not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Great location and close to everything. The private roof top deck had great views and allowed us to spread out. Staff was very friendly. Needed to transport luggage a short distance from luggage drop off point, but the host Mimmo assisted us with that

The property was absolutely beautiful perfect view of the lake right out The window or the balcony. The owner was fabulous. We came in late and he came and helped us check in late. He also helped me when I locked my key in the apartment. Very friendly and professional There was also a cute little bar downstairs that was very convenient , friendly people everywhere at Castle, Gandolfo. I would definitely stay here again

Gem of a Inn and Town

Everyone who helped us was amazing! The room, the town and the view is spectacular. We would stay again and spend even more time to explore. The communication with Roberta,was easy through whats app, and they were extremely responsive. They connected us with Filippo, a driver who was able to take us multiple times to and from the train station. He is a wonderful asset to have. The suite was just incredibly clean, well appointed and maintained. The beds were so very comfortable. The amenities perfect! We just hated to leave this inn and the magical town of Castel Gandolfo.

I can find the wright words to express my gratitude for staying in this beautiful place for 2 night. My son told me if we can book for another 4 night. I just want to say the place is amazing, we stay for to night at the suit Rafaello, this is a lovely Inn I will give 5 stars. Mimmo is the gentleman who was there and welcome us. Every day he ask us if we will need anything, show us around and let us know were we can eat better. The location is near to the lake and we had one amazing view from our terrace . Thank you Atlantis Inn Castelgandolfo and thank you Mimmo and your lovely team. Hopefully we will see you soon.

We were sent a message by Roberta who was very friendly about meeting at the property to collect the key. The property is well located overlooking the lake and it has everything you need, a well equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, a washing machine and dishwasher that would help for a longer stay. The bathroom is small, however the main issue we had was that people were right outside our bedroom taking and listening to music until late into the night on a Saturday evening and could not sleep.

A wonderful peaceful visit to Castel Gonfolfo

The owners of the hotel and all of the staff I saw daily were the most welcoming and hospitable I had ever met and I travel a lot! My room, 2 floor suite with a terrace balcony on the second floor overlooking lake Albano, was spotless, and the view breathtaking and so peaceful to look at. Coffee was available in the lobby at your leisure and bottled water was complimentary, left in your mini fridge. There were so many amazing restaurants available just around the corner, steps away, either with a view of the lake or along the main shopping area. The owners were kind enough to give me a lift to the closest train station in Ciampino, since the train station in Castel Gondolfo was temporarily closed for repair. I appreciated that so much as I didn’t have to figure out how to catch the bus and wait outside in the hot street. This hotel is a perfect base for sight seeing other small towns or Rome without the crowds of a big city. If you are going, book this hotel. A beautiful experience!

We had a lovely time at the Atlantis. First time visiting Castel Gandolfo, and we didn't know much about the area. This is a lovely property in the historic center of town, very convenient for strolling the tiny streets, exploring its shops and restaurants. Mimmo and Roberta were excellent hosts. We arrived on Easter Sunday from Rome and were very hungry. Mimmo easily managed to get us a table at a very popular restaurant which is very hard in Italy on such date. He aslo found us transportation back to Rome 3 days later. Regarding the property itself, it was a small apartment with independent entrance to the street. It contained everything we needed, 2 bedrooms, a living area with a couch and dining table, a small but functional bathroom, and even a full kitchen and washer (which we didn't use). Our room had a small balcony with lovely views of Lago Albano. We had plenty of linens and toiletries and someone from the property came every morning to make sure if we needed anything extra. The lake is a nice hike down that you start at the street right behind our apartment. Not a problem even with kids, ours loved it. We recommend this place and will stay there again if the opportunity comes.
