Alright, this place may need a paint job, but the staff is friendly and the cabins are fantastic, we had a king size bed with Kitchenette and a spotless bathroom. I would highly recommend for a short or long stay.

Older property but well maintained. The owner Dewald was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Also very receptive to any issues with stay. Grounds are very nice with trails behind hotel. It lives up to its name with the beautiful views of Mt. Jefferson. Enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

Perfect Place to Stay When Hiking in the Area

We’ve come back to this hotel because the people are incredibly nice, accommodating and the place is in perfect proximity to the hiking that we are there to do. It’s convenient, clean and comfortable. It’s not the Biltmore, but that’s not what we want. It met our needs and we will return again!

Surprisingly good. $50 less than Cabot Inn for family of 3. Nice outdoor atmosphere with families grilling and kids playing in playground. Continental (not hot) breakfast. Stayed 1 night then santas village.

The mount Jefferson View is a very nice place. It is simple,but it has a pool, fire pit, lots of space and terrific views. the staff is super nice and the breakfast looks good

Very kid friendly

The owners were lovely, so positive and helpful. We had a great visit. The kids loved the pool, the playground area and the basketball hoop. If I had one wish for the outdoor space it would be scattered benches with backs. The cottages were cute, if a little outdated. Would stay there again.

Jefferson View was a perfect place to stay the night before starting a Presidential Traverse. Just a couple minutes from Appalachia trailhead. The owner was really nice and generous.
