Great stay and I’ll stay again!

Stunning craftsmanship, friendly people, comfortable beds, quiet area (except for some planes but that’s what happens if you’re needing to be near an airport!), clean, safe, good food (I had a lovely vegan salad and fruit), nice little exercise gym, beautiful grounds.

True Gem

Amazing place. We had to change hotels last minute because of civil unrest in Quito. No one was able to travel for a day or two. The hosts were so accommodating to everyone staying at their lodge. Many people had multiple flight cancellations because of the unrest, and the hosts did their best with everyone. We enjoyed looking at all of the beautiful birds that would come to the feeders (esp hummingbirds), the chihuahuas, the kids, and the excellent meals. He woke up at 330am to help us with transport. We eventually got to the galapagos and he helped us arrange a driver for 6 hrs during a long layover. My spouse and I are extremely thankful to the owners of Zaysant...a true gem. This place gets my highest rating!!!

This was the perfect location for my stay. It was a very peaceful setting. The room was lovely and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious and the hosts made me feel completely at home. This will definitely be my home away from home any time I visit Ecuador in the future!

It was amazing! They made us feel so welcome.

Our stay here was so different than staying in a hotel. They made us feel at home. Welcomed us in to their house and their living room. It is a beautiful property with lots of flowers and fruits and humming birds!! We had a great time here. I would like to go there again and stay for longer time.

It was so welcoming to walk out of the Quito airport and see my name on the first sign I saw. I was in a simple room with a great fishbowl feel to it and loved the open design. The breakfast was awesome and everyone was so welcoming. I will stay here every time I fly into Quito now.

The rooms are made of wood and makes you feel in the forest inside the city It's a very nice, safe, clean and comfortable budget hotel located close to Quito Airport . Would strongly recommend for family travelers. The hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality.The hotel owners Gerardo and wife is very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay.The staffs were very helpful Hotel's dinning room was great and all home made food was great Overall experience was awesome.I'll recommend this ecolodge hotel to every couple and families. You wont regret, just be there.. Another home away from home

Wonderful and Peaceful Report

We stayed here based upon a recommendation and because it's not far from the airport (we arrived just after midnight). The hosts are amazingly friendly and helpful. They made us feel like members of their family (in fact their kids were there because of a school holiday and even they were friendly and helpful). We loved the room and the central meeting area. The grounds are beautiful and they have an assortment of animals such as roosters, a horse, goats, and five very cute little dogs that follow the owner like the pied piper. The food was excellent and the rates a good value. We had no complaints at all. The owners truly care about the guests, as well as making the property as inviting as possible.

Wonderful place with charming touches in and out of rooms. Gerardo is a congenial and exuberant host. Wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. That there are a number of birds on the grounds was a plus.
